1958 Buick Roadmaster:

What an AWESOME car. Hell.

It's not a 400R. Doesn't have the hood nor the front fender flares, for starters. Nor does it have the graphics. They only made something like 44 of them, too, so I doubt we'll ever see one outside of Japan.

Still, it looks like it's got the semi-complete Nismo bodykit, which isn't a bad start.

I thought so. Good confirmation. 👍 It was at least, a well executed replica.

My F355 pic from a few days ago has your Saab beat by a mile!

And yeah, that Roadmaster was rockin', was wondering if Cano would lose his **** over it.

Are hardtop Miatas anything? I got a picture of one and then seen another one, but I can't recall ever seeing one in person before. Anyways, so far I've got a pic of a Corvette Z06 and Porsche Panamera S (I think) but the pics are on my camera so I can't put them up until later.

Wasn't the hardtop a limited production? Like 500-1000 units?

Newer Miatas have a retractable hardtop as an option (2007-present I think), I believe older ones had a manually removable hardtop as an option. I don't know if there was ever a fixed roof Miata coupe though.

My dad's cousin had a '59 Buick Electra. An absolutely, mind-blowingly awesome thing for an 8- and 9-year-old to ride around in. Then he traded it in for a '71 Cadillac. My reaction now is the knight's from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: "He chose ... poorly."

NB (2nd Gen), 179 built, Japan only. :)

Of course we also know about the fixed top NB from Initial D!:sly:

Reminded me of the '57 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser I spotted last year...

I love visiting this thread and seeing the kinda' stuff we just don't get over here.
The PAO and the Buick were pretty incredible.

Oh, and that hard-top MX5 is gorgeous.

Is that fixed-roof Miata a factory job, though? There are companies out there that specialize in making convertible versions of hard tops, and vice versa. Convertible GC Imprezas come to mind.

Out of nowhere (there aren't many exotics at all in my town) I saw two 458s driving around last weekend. But 'pics or it didn't happen' so...

^Is this to say that women are actually attracted to guys that tack on chrome crap and other random pieces to their Golfs? Freakin' disgusting.

I haven't gone car spotting in so long, I might get back into this. I still have the issue of Automobile featuring Doug!

A division of Mazda created it, so yes, it's a factory job.

Range Rover

Isn't that a no-parking spot?

Yea that is illegal parking. They have a handicapped placard but they aren't in the right spot.
