And post of the year so far, got damn.

Oh, stop it, you! :p

Awesome VW junkyard/resting place/whatever the hell you call those places. I can see some very very interesting cars in there, including a few oval windows and Superbeetles. Very cool. The Karman Ghia is still saveable. And the wagon thing you want to know what it is, it's a VW Type 3 Squareback.

It's actually a guy that works on old VW's, the old rusting ones in the back are just parts cars. :( And thanks for telling me what the one VW is! 👍

Also your Chrysler is a 1965 or so 300, and the smart car is the old one, regardless of the other one actually bein' called Smart.

That's what I was trying to get at,
Awesome aaawesome post 👍

Thanks! :)

So does anyone know what that yellow car towards the beginning of my post is? I'm guessing it must not be anything...

Not sure of that but your silver car shot through the rear window is a first gen Mazda RX-7 (most likely an FB), sweet car :)

@ xXKingJoshXx

The yellow car towards the beginning was a 75-80 Chevrolet Monza or one of it's cousins. I'm guessing a 1976 judging by the front end. It could be a 75, but 75 had more chrome. 77 had duel headlights and were all hatchbacks (I think)? The coupe was 75 and 76 only (again I think)?

I had a '75 model with a 350 V8. It was a fast and fun little car, but it went through front brakes faster than it went through rear tires.

Here's a wiki link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Monza

Today is Rover day, on the walk to work I took a detour and snapped these two on the same street

Alays nice to see a British classic or two ^..^

^ 👍

Never thought much of the Rover P6 when i was a kid, not helped by the horrid early 70's browns, beiges, greens and 'british sky' blues that they were usually found in. But it's a shape that has grown on me. Be interested in how a light restomoded version could look, with a TVR Power V8 in it naturally.

Oh nice, love it! The Rovers too, my Dad had a 99 when I was a kid which I hated at the time but love that shape now. I got some nice Rover pics at a recent car show, really need to up them to Flickr and share them in the other thread :)

Guysguysguysguysguuuuuuuys!

Here are the results of my spotting from Monday:

Two short vids (so bad they're 'unlisted') - For one, here's a neat Maserati GranTurismo:

Also...!
Saw my first (probably the last, with my luck) Carrera GT! Here's a short video of it I managed to get:

Thanks go to:
1.) The traffic. Excellent job on making it impossible to fully hear these magnificent V10 and V8 engines.
2.) My index finger's 'feeling', for pressing the close-up button for some reason at the beginning of the second video.

Saw this in a parking garage while hanging out with some bronies at UMD:

And this one is actually just up the road from me:

I thought it was pretty sweet :).

Other than the black body panels, I like it. Also, your car looks very reasonably priced.

Camaro SS 350

I'm casting doubts as to that being a real "SS". Granted, it has an SS hood, but where are the "SS" or "350" fender badges ? Some may ask, where is the front stripe. Keep in mind, not all gen. 1 Camaro's had these stripes. The emblem on the fender, underneath where it says Camaro is also incorrect for this generation Camaro. The little red bowtie on the fender is also non OEM, an add on by the owner.

It appears to me that this car was just pieced together. Take a close look at the rear of the hood where it meets the cowl ... poor fitment. Take a look at the door ... very poor fitment. The black roof, why is is painted ? Vinyl roofs are not that shiny to where they cast such reflection.

Sorry, but I'm calling an SS clone, and not a good clone either. If that was the owners intention.

None the less, when you can catch a gen.1 Camaro, they are pretty cool. 👍
