I saw a BMW 760il V-12 on my way to work this morning.

OK, it´s just an American police car, but American cars in Germany are as rare as rain in the Sahara and this one is probably the only police car over here.

Actually, an 80s Caprice police cruiser would be a rare sighting in North America now. Most have been retired for many years by now, replaced by either newer Caprices (which would be nearing the end of their life in service since production on those stopped a while ago), Crown Victorias, or Impalas.

Saw a MKIV Supra today, first one i've ever seen in person (sad, I know).

These are the Initial D movie cars that were in a downtown shooping mall here on Sunday. There were loads of people around so it was dificult to get good shots and my girlfiend took the pics.

About 2 hours ago i saw a black Lamborghini Murcielago.Looked almost exactly like this except it wasn't a convertible.

It whizzed past me on the freeway.

On the way to work today:
A Porche Cayenne, wich is starting to get as common as a VW Golf around here.
And a Ferrari 360 in racing outfit that apparently competed in something called "360 Chalenge". It looked pretty stock though, appart from a few modifications to compy to standard FIA regulations. BTW it wasn't driving in the streets off course, since it would no longer be street-legal in racing outfit. It was on the back of a truck.

I just heard that name for the first time, regarding the Chinese auto market.

I know HK is officially part of China, but it's auto market is VERY different from the mainland. HK mainly consists of Japanese cars plus BMW, Porsche and Mercedes. Whereas China's automotive market is mostly late 80s VW Passats and Buicks under the Shanghai Motors Co. brand.

Saw the Viper, Testarossa, Delorean, and all the vettes again on Saturday--the guy up the street that owns them all had a reception at his house, and had the garage open to give people something to do. I'm pretty good friends with his kids, so we stayed a while. As we were leaving, the viper blew past at full tilt. It sounds AMAZING!

The 360 Challenge is big Ferrari event for 360 models to race in.

Basically what the 360 Challenge Stradale came from.
Were you near a race track? Or Exotic car Dealer?

OK. The Japanese news said China, but they could've been talking about HK market.

Thanks for the pics, btw. I remember the headlights from the Mark II concept drawing. The actual, production version in your pics look much better than the drawing I saw while back. 👍
