We've now made live a digital (online) version of our Game Manual which covers many UI screens and game features. I recommend reviewing the information presented in this collection to help you better understand the game and how to get the best out of it. This was put together with the WMD community so offers a player-perspective which you may appreciate. A downloadable PDF version is in the works and could be available soon as next week.

Thanks, will be very handy! I'll wait for the PDF since that link on your website seems to open in massive sized fonts for me (Google Chrome). Was the same already with the page of the season pass info.

Just read through, great information.
I didn't see it in the digital manual, could someone explain to me the U1500 license?
How it improves, does our career affect it?

In the license icon, what do different colored bars mean? I saw someone whose was gold colored today while all the others are blue
You mean this?

That's a perk for WMD2 Gold members.

I am on PS4 Patch 1.03 installed.

I just had a look at the link https://www.projectcarsgame.com/03-career-mode.html?lang=en

It says in the manual I can start at Tier 6 when in actual fact only tiers 3 & 4 were unlocked when I first started the game. Doesn't this make it it a bit difficult to get the trophy "zero to Hero"? Why does the manual not match the game and does this mean I must replay the game once I have unlocked all tiers to get the trophy?

Cheers

Hmmm, so you didn't start in tier 6 originally and now it's locked?
Or was it like that from the beginning?

Weird.

Please re-read my post, I have just added a screen shot to prove it.

Hi there TT92

To get the trophy "Zero to Hero" you must begin your career from L6 and progress through to L1.
I started at Tier 5 *Clio Cup :banghead: then realised to get 'Zero to Hero' I needed to start at L6. My understanding is that you need to successfully complete one logo to progress through. This can be done progressive - linear or whichever path you choose. Eg I started L5 - Clio, L4 - Cayman, L3 - RS01, L2 - Touring Car, L1 - Current Touring Car.

Tiers 6-3 are 'open' Tiers 2-1 are locked. Will have to start a 2nd career

Hope that helps.

I think SMS just sends you a “special” copy of the game every time. I remember you always had issues that nobody else had back when pCARS 1came out.

Hi there TT92

To get the trophy "Zero to Hero" you must begin your career from L6 and progress through to L1.

I do realise that hence my question. I was assuming that a second playthrough would be required so I kept going. My thoughts were to keep going until the other levels unlock then do one event from each tier 6-1 to get the trophy. This reasoning was based on I need to complete all races to get all the accolades and that trophy.

This is what I am counting on once the other levels unlocked.

Starting a second career wastes a lot of time and races for me :-( I was given the the choice of starting in 4 or 5 so I picked 4. When I finished 4 tier 2 unlocked. What do you think my chances are if I keep going when I finish 3 will 6, 2 & 1 unlock?

My plan would be to do all of 6,5 & 1 and one full event of 4, 3 & 1 again to get my trophy. Can anyone give me an idea *IF* this will work? Or just do everything in what ever order it pops and then one full event from 6 to 1 to get the trophy?

I really do need some definitive guidance here as I am about to waste an awful lot of time either way if I get this wrong.

I'd imagine that Zero to Hero implies that you start at the bottom & work your way to the top, so I would suggest starting a new career.
