Sorry if this is not in the right section, but I need some advice from people that have played both games. Which one is the better one?

there's still alot of bugs in nascar where as no one has come across any in dirt3, also remember dirt 3 requires an online pass (comes with new games). In my opinion dirt 3 is the more fun game, infact the only dissapointment ive had is that dirt 3 is a bit short with alot repetition.

Where as nascars career mode is just one season but racing 43 cars can be quite a fun experience but the game is easy on hard and impossible on very hard. They both offer different types of racing but dirt 3 is definately the more user friendly experience.

You just ended the thread...

Not sure though. I guess you'd need a neutral player of course that doesn't lean to any side the slightest bit.

Well, I can't really say one is better than the other without knowing what he would consider to be something that makes the game better. I admit, I have not played NASCAR 2011, but in describing DIRT 3, I could make reference to the free-roam gymkhana mode as a positive ... but is this something BayneHamlin would consider to be a good feature? Does he want a game that is ultra-realistic? Would DIRT 3's Party Modes be something he is interested in? Questions like that. I could easily describe everything that I think makes DIRT 3 a fantastic game, only to find that it's nothing he's looking for.

Like game modes, stuff like that, and it doesn't have to be ultra realistic. :P

If you go by game ratings or metacritic then Dirt 3 wins
If its is bugs that you are after then Nascar wins

But the most important thing you have to ask yourself is... do I like oval racing or Rally and freestyle drift and tricks...

To me its a no brainer - F1 2011 - kidding - Dirt 3 would be my choise between the two you mencioned
