In real life you have racing stewards who can deal with dangerous drivers, but in a game you can not have stewards. The only way you can stamp out dangerous driving in this game, is to bring in ghosting.
hmm ghosting, but still give a penalty to the offender. It would be a shame to lose the realism of cars bumping but, it looks like it might be a neccessary evil. Yesterday I was getting alot of poles in the daily one make race, and alot of fastest laps, but couldn't win a single race, on a small oval due to me running in the 3rd lane up on corners, and people not slowing in corners and just slamming into me, AND my DR went from upper C to below half D. I'm thinking pub's are a waste of time in this game. lol man... not qualifying and starting in the back lap 1 turn 1 = pile ups that can't be avoided. I'm not going to coast around in P20 waiting for wrecks that just not fun. GT sport mode should be called bumper cars mode. Half of it is the players using the DS4 controller you can see them jerking all over no smooth turning, hell I get slammed into constantly just going down straight away's by the jerky DS4 players that can't even drive in a straight line. I just wanted to "check out" sport mode, my initial impression is not good.
In the mean time I'm getting my steering wheel rig setup, and going to work on good qualifying times, at least not starting in the back should help.
