I bought PS5 for the Demon's Souls remake in the first place, which is awesome, and for the other exclusives (even if a temporary ones). And some multiplayer games where I can't be bothered to deal with script/cheat engine kiddies from the PC versions.
Somewhat disappointed with GT7 so far. Good driving experience (just not enough of content and variety for the single player), mediocre at best the game aspect, terrible economy. I was also disappointed enough with GT5 so I completely skipped GT6 and GTS. The former was also released far too late into PS3's cycle, after PS4 was out already, so it not being a cross-gen title and the fact it did look like a GT5 1.1 completely killed my interest in it. And the latter is just not my kind of a game as I don't enjoy driving/racing online at all. I know they've added some single player content eventually, but at that point I wasn't interested in playing it anymore.
So no, I don't regret anything, although for me GT is "just another game". After being a gamer for over 3 decades I've just accepted the fact that series come and go, some stay, but not worth attention/money anymore, too. Kinda sad sometimes when your favorite ones turn out like that, or like the Final Fantasy series. And FF was THE game series for me through PS1 and PS2, and 13 (all 3 of them) and 15 were pretty bad, so pretty much 2 generations without a good game so far (don't have much hope for 16, but I'll check it out anyway).
But it is what it is.
