Is it illegal to use a 'no CD patch' if you lawfully own a copy of a the game?

I'd much rather have the game stored on my hard drive.

Yeah, I get some no CD cracks for convenience...I can't be bothered going and shifting all my cd cases just to get a CD out for about an hour or two, then put it back out when I go to get a different game to play.

not all of them, i know a few without porn
plus i make some of my own know CD cracks for my games

by the way it is not illegal to use a no CD crack if you own the original game, it may void any warrantys though

plus if you dont know any without porn then just use Kazaa

Copy everything from the CD to any folder on your harddrive, and when it asks were your CD is located, redirect it to the folder. This works for a few games, some games needs a little fixing in their configuration or ini files to know were to look for the files.
