Disk stuck in YLOD PS3?

Does anybody know how to get the disc out of a YLOD 60GB PS3 without ripping it? Gt5 is stuck in it and i dont want to void the warrantee. (<spell) The last thing i want to do is buy another game.

There is no way of getting a disk out without opening the case if it cannot be powered on. The only way is to get it working long enough to eject it. If its under warranty just send it in and tell them about the game stuck in it and they will probably just send it back when they get it out.

Since it came out nearly, so its out. But if you open it will it maje a difference?

When I saw this thread, I confused the thread title with something else. To answer the question, I think it may void your warranty. Best to call Sony and ask them about it.

I broke my drive because I had a rented movie stuck in it. an awful movie that wasn't worth the $25. I Just got a new PS3, wasn't going to hold onto the ticking timebomb that is the launch PS3 60gb.

Too late now. I took it apart and it was actually very easy!
