I will not make it this Sunday. Will check back to see how many showed up.
Thanks for the heads up. So you may be able to race 12.11? Contingent on tomorrow's grid size. What is your threshold?

Com on guys, sign up for duties and become a member of team SNAIL. Every duty you perform earns you valuable Shells.

Well last weekend it was just 3 of us… I don’t have a threshold it depends how much I’m itching to race.

D2 is still in need of a primary host for this season. I will be posting the finalized drivers list on Sunday morning at some point. If there is still no volunteer to host by then, there is a very real possibility that D2 will be absorbed by D1 with D1 drivers having first priority to race.

I can’t let that happen. I will fill the void on the empty duties. See above.

So there’s a chance that my division can change?

Question, are non-participants allowed in the lobby to watch? I told my brother-in-law about the league, and he would like to watch tonight's races from his house.

That are not. Some stream races on YouTube and Twitch. Follow the main thread.

Nice racing last night to everyone. Thanks for waiting for me after the incident @EvoSpecX, and thanks to @Skills for keeping us organized and moving forward.
Hope the Ford stays but I hope Road Atlanta stays more.
Anyone looking for some weekday action check out SRC league. They race the Redbull jr, MX5, and Copen in independent series.

We had 2 drivers leave due to self stated lag.

I did see some jittery cars as I was in pursuit but I didn’t hear tire noise or see any teleportation. I used to see some drivers all over, making sparks and squealing tires.

I felt the lobby was fairly stable.
I will check my connection later today. I may have been on Wi-Fi inadvertently. I was hardwired but I don’t remember if the settings were switched. I have to share a cable with my work set up so I did move the cable but may not have changed the PS4 settings.
I apologize if that detrimentally affected the room stability.

What I was seeing was that nobody was stable. No teleporting or anything like that. It was subtle movements side to side and forward and backward. Just enough to make it difficult to race close to anyone. I left at the end of race 2 and cleared the cache in game and reset my router just to be safe. That didn't change a thing.

Yep, that is what we see every week, cars jittering from side to side and sometimes you hear the tires chirping too. Makes it hard to race door to door.

Strange. The last time I raced, I was on PS4 and didn't see much of that kind of thing (one or two drivers and the same guys all the time). This was the first time I raced using the PS5 and I'm seeing what everyone has been complaining about.

I’m curious to see if you’re playing on the PS4 what the results would be.
Is there a way to play the PS4 version on the PS5? I thought I read somewhere on gtp that may improve the lobby experience.

It can be done. I'm not sure that I'm the right one to test this. I raced this week because I had nothing going on. I will be out next week as I have a golf tournament. That's the beauty of living in California, 12 month golf season except for the occasional rainy day and frost delays. The weekend of the 17th and 18th is Christmas party heavy and then we hit Christmas.

I will say that there were many times I was door to door in the braking zones fighting for corner rights and there was no appreciable jitters.
Or the first corner first lap fighting.

Is this the tournament you’re gunning for playing with the custom fitted Calloways?

You were the host. It should be better for you as you are connected directly to everyone else. The rest of us have to connect through you to get to everyone else. There is no published material that confirms this but everything that happens in a lobby point to them all being fixed host. This is why we had one individual insist on running fixed host in previous games even though he did not have permission to do so. It was to his advantage with his sub par connection.

This is just a men's club tournament. A little mixed format with two man teams and a trip to the bar after the round.

I’ll hardwire and verify settings, IP, DMZ, etc. and I’ll have some rooms up this week for testing if anyone is interested.
Do you think my blunder last changed the lobby vs when I’m hardwired in comparison to other nights I’ve hosted? I’d say it should have But my router is 6 yards from my PlayStation.

Wifi is always a downgrade from a wired connection.
