Replay uploader is the job for me. We gotta work on that job title though, how about Replay archivist coordinating entity.

Thank you.
Who likes entering numbers in little boxes?

I'll do texting. @Skills by "numbers in little boxes" do you mean data entry? If so, and no one else is willing, I think I can do it. At least I did once about a year ago.

In Div 1, we started at T3. Somewhat arbitrary, but it got the job done. Started with 6 drivers and everyone was courteous at the start. No trying to get jumps on anyone. I'd say that the typical scenario would be that everyone be on party chat, then lobby owner initiates race, then everyone pulls forward of the start line to give room to get into position. When in position, get rolling to 50 mph in single file, giving a car length of space to the guy in front of you. Agree that leader will go after end of turn (whatever: turn 2 or 3 or 4).
Going green after a full lap is fine for most tracks but consider that drivers get antsy in thinking their tires are getting ice cold.
Just in case anyone missed this in the main thread. I watched a couple of replays today and observed a couple of things. Things went best when a predetermined the start was a designated part of the track, ie. the short straight after T3 at Brands Hatch, making sure all cars are on the straight before going green. On green in the lobby all drivers move well apart so cars can move through the pack. Get arranged in the order necessary, as indicated by the _____? scorekeeper? Once in order proceed at 80 km/h (50 mph) to designated spot.

Thank you @JamCar0ne @Chiochansan and @CANOWORMS1 for volunteering. Will everyone be racing this Sunday?

Do we have the designated starting location determined for Yamagiwa yet?

I'll be racing Sunday. I haven't heard where the start line will be. I understand that last week it was supposed to have been a full lap.

I'm thinking the straight after t1 might work, if everyone buys into it.

Give me about an hour and I will have a start point.

Did anyone racing last Sunday get screen shots of the final scoreboard? I did not and I hear they could speed my data entry considerably.

Here is what I have, probably won't help you much though.

I have all the drivers in D3 on my PS friends list. Can I use a 'friends only' lobby tonight @JLBowler?

No friends only lobby. They use a completely different connection model than the open lobby.
You've sparked my curiosity, what are the differences? Haven't seen anywhere what schemes GT7 uses.

Same as previous games. Fixed host requires all room information to go to the host and then to other drivers. Non-fixed host has all drivers connected to each other. Advantages and disadvantages to both but fixed host hasn't been allowed for quite some time.

Thanks JC, that's pretty much what I was looking for. Thanks. I ended up going through the replays and getting the time stamp as each driver finished. Then a little math and viola, time gap. Having a photo is much easier. This Sunday I was able to get a screen shot of this screen at the end of each race and that will help a lot. I was able wait until all gaps were displayed.

Thanks for this. I know you mentioned in the party chat that this might help me, but I made sure to get a screen shot of the race result page. Had that not happened your replay showed it. For driver FL I have to check each finisher and for that I need a replay where I can switch between drivers.

A heads up and a request. I am absent this coming Sunday and we will need a texter. Pretty simple job. Save a message that politely says "You're not wanted, go away.". The request is for screen shots of the results page to be made available. JamCar posted some here and that works. And Rugger posted some in a GT7 chat, but not that party chat someone started some time ago and we all keep jumping into. 🤣😂 That also works. I'm getting overwhelmed with all the ways I can ignore you. 😀 And I haven't even mentioned all the notifications that I miss.

Hello people. Just back from the summer solstice at the Arctic Circle. Hot and sunny. 27 degrees Celsius a couple of days. I regret I had to miss a night of racing on RH tires. Is there any chance anyone saved screen shots/photos of the race finish positions?

I know it’s more of a chore but you’ll be able to see them in the YouTube broadcast.
