Since you can't dupe the DLC paints, does anyone know whether you can rebuy the DLC paint pack?

This is stupid they should just give you them forever. You physically paid for them meaning you own them.

Christmas is coming up, PD team needed a little extra money for the holidays

Not much to be said, they all sat around the table and said, we can either make more money or less money. They chose to make more

(Or perhaps sony forced them to make it re-buyable. the world will never know)

Well, you physically paid for one set of paint chips. The paint pack includes 100 paint chips... that's what you bought, that's what they said you would be given. So, can't really argue with that.

You can argue that the game has a stupid system for painting cars and collecting paint colours... but that's another matter.

An interesting marketing move..

You can. Even Sony wouldn't shirk an opportunity to take your money.

I still can't figure out why you would pay real money to paint a virtual car.

I don't understand why you need so many of the same paints..how would you get another paint chip anyway there is no paint shop in the game lol

Or pay real money to race virtual cars around virtual tracks.

To paint multiple cars in the same, your favorite, color. Well, or the rims. ;)

I believe Sony/PD had a bright idea on the subject. Well, at least from their perspective. :indiff:

It's your money, I don't care what you do with it, but the paint just doesn't enhance my enjoyment of the game in any way.

I wouldn't think it would for everyone. It certainly does for me, but that doesn't mean that I can't figure out why one wouldn't pay real money to paint a virtual car. ;)

In my opinion the car drives the same no matter what color it is (I'll resist the urge to break out the pink Veyron picture). Oh well, enjoy your paints good sir, try not to scratch your cars.

I could use more of the GT-Fluorescent paint chips...only one or two sweet greens? Ugh

My colleague IRL stated he just took the standard colour on his car (Lotus ExigeS), which is actually unique here in Luxembourg, since everyone seems to pay for special colours.

Maybe this pay every time for colour is not so unrealistic. Learn to stick with your colour!
