Question regarding paints: is it possible to buy them twice?!

I'm in Asia, and according to the PSN DLC purchase page, it IS possible to buy (and pay for) this DLC MANY times, it also warns us to be careful when doing so. Some items will be lost when gifted or deleted.

I am curious, can somebody enlighten me whether the SPECIAL SUITS (Stig, NASCAR, Rally, GT Helmet) are GIFTABLE to another account ? Thanks !

Just like HOME content, they can't.
PSN ID Service Content Can't be shared.
If you have 5 user account for different family members they are all required to pay.
 
On PSN store or in game?

Is it easy to DL?, I might try and get my mrs to DL it for me but her + ps3= fail :/
 
Erm, do i have to buy them in the store? Still get the message that there´s no dlc...
 
Jumped into a room with Spa....pretty fun racing. Don't really care for the new bus stop though:yuck:

Go to store, buy, start GT5, install via this new button at the Start Up Screen far right. Takes 1min all in all.

Ye, just saw that it´s in the store. Already installed the dlc. YAY :)

It says on the GT5 website that it is purchased in the playstation store and then installed using the DLC button in game. :-)

Why doesn't it just install it's self right after the download like every other game. Why do we need a button to install it?
 
Can someone post its download size (MB). It's $18.95 for the complete pack in Aus :(

Tried gifting a special suit, the white stig suit, a chrome paint and a DLC car ticket and it all came up saying "You cannot give this item as a gift".

So you can have justification for your signature :lol:

Kidding. This is special DLC that is tied to the PSN ID. In order to use it you have to manually install it through your ID in order to "authorise" it for the usage.

So it can be Account Locked, I'm assuming. Actually so they can charge $$$ us more than once. It's about time PD start cashing in on GT5, don't ya think ? :sly:
 
If you download Spa from one account, will it work on other accounts, on same PS3 that is?
 
How screwed up is this I bought my track DLC it took the money but gives me no tracks

Thanks very much DAL112. Exactly as I suspected.... I'm on the fence and unsure whether its time to bring out the Credit Card :)

Sorry for asking again if it was allready answered.
But as i have a PSN account, which i am using for playing GT5, the country it is registered too does not have a PSN Store.
Now when i would dl the DLC from a UK store with my diff PSN account, does that mean that i cannot use the DLC content with my primary PSN account????
If i would install the DLC with my diff PSN account and than switch to the one i am using would it still not work????
If not than i am f.u...ed. :banghead::banghead:

There's no size, you've already downloaded it with Spec 2.0. This is unlock only DLC. € price is 11.99.

In actually, GT5 DLC is "Unlock Service" not a DLC.

So that is not working with other account which didn't purchase "DLC".

Yes but when you download DLC for other games it installs it automatically right after download. And it should be account locked as well, since you are signed in to psn giving them money.
