Hello guys,

I haven't seen any thread like this (but if i missed, please the mods delete it)

This one is meant to add future info and dlc releases when we know and that already were made available.

Right now, we have the first DLC, the M4.


Current patch:
1.02

DLC:

1.01
BMW M4 — Prize car in BMW M4 seasonal event, 120.000Cr in the dealership
Mercedes Vision GT — First free, second 1.000.000Cr
Acura NSX — 1.000.000Cr in the dealership
Deltawing — 2.000.000Cr in the dealership

Red Bull X Challenge
* Red Bull Kart — Prize car in challenge, 10.000Cr in the dealership
* Red Bull Junior — Prize car in challenge, 200.000Cr in the dealership
Mario Andretti's Hudson — Prize car in seasonal event, 500.000cr in the dealership

Mario Andretti's Hudson Hornet should be released on December 16th. If the firstlove website and @sorg's photos are to be believed.
 
Isn't the Merc VGT also DLC as it's not in v1.00, and you'll probably be listing the other VGT cars as DLC when they come along.
 
Don't forget the Deltawings, NSX concepts, and the LFA Nurburgring Edition.
 
Free DLC isn't an unknown feature, although I guess that is a passed pahse of gaming now.

Pay for content, pay through your eyes.
 
DLC means that you need to download it separately. Free or paid - it doesn't matter. The key point is SEPARATE/OPTIONAL download. It means, car won't appear in dealership or garage unless u go to PSN Store and download it (unlock key or content itself). All cars automatically appeared through scheduled update cannot be classified as DLC. Thus VGT cars, M4, Deltawing - all of them are NOT DLC. It's just content update. The only DLC available today for GT6 are 15th anniversary cars.

No. If it came in a patch, you still had to download the content. It's still DLC.

i heard they may actually release GT6, not GT5.5 as we seem to have at the moment.
 
I'm wondering when the Red Bull X Challenge lands. Hopefully soon, I look forward to the challenge following GT5's Vettel Challenge.

strange coz my copy of gt6 seems a lot like gt5.5. apart from a lot of pretty stars and clouds and stuff.

Strange, I would classify mine as GT1.6. I don't really see the difference between GT1 and this besides the updated graphics, cars, tracks, physics, online, etc. Please PD, innovate the game beyond our imagination.

FFS. While there are some very valid reasons to dislike GT6, there are other threads already out there for that discussion. Why must this be brought into every single thread?

Are you going to keep the OP updated with patch information? You should and if so, can you organize it so it's more user friendly maybe something like this:

v1.01
DLC Mercedes Vision GT - no cost, 1 free per user, at dealer after.
DLC BMW M4 - no cost, buy in dealership

+ any other known info ...etc....

There are plenty of places to complain about GT on these boards, please go find one and stop attempting to troll this thread.

Yup, i will do it as my time really alows me, but that is the main point of this thread, keep it updated and user friendly! :)

Good to hear. I noticed though you changed the OP and that's kind of the opposite of what I'd do. Bold the titles and headings, not the information. You want to draw attention to the major things like DLC Mercedes Vision GT as opposed to leaving it unbolded and bolding the information about that particular DLC. Much easier to read that way and easier to find things:tup:

And consider it done, already changed it and i'm going to boot GT6 in a few minutes and i will update the OP with NSX and Delta's info!
 
are we still only on v1.01? I've updated twice now beyond 1.01.
 
This car isn't on 1.00 but my opinion is, it isn't dlc..

None of them are DLC! They are just updates to the game, not classed as DLC packs and nothing had to be paid out for them.

Where is it written that "downloadable content" has to be purchased for a premium, aka not free? Don't confuse "micro transactions" with "DLC".
 
I wonder what happened to the Mercedes Vision Gran Turismo Racing Series
