Honda NSX Concept '13 was also added in 1.01.

Think the NSX concept was also included in 1.01 as i didn't see it in 1.00

@Grayfox yeah, thats whats causing the current drama in this thread. People are arguing if they should call it DLC or not, should read it... actually, I think like the last three posters should...

I hope they come with the interior and tuning options soon for the M4. Drives pretty nice stock though just wish I could adjust it a bit and get closer to 500pp.

Not DLC if they were in the car list pre release.

You guys really need to learn the difference between DLC and additional/unlocked content. As explained by others and myself here, DLC comes from the Playtation store and is either redemable by a code such as the anniversary cars, or a fee or sometimes free but either way, it still has to be downloaded via the store to use in the game. All the cars you have all mentioned so far (including the dozen mentions of the '13 NSX by people who can't be bothered to read through less than 2 full pages) are unlocked within the game and were already there - you've not downloaded them, Sorg discovered the M4 before the patch to unlock it and he has also discovered the Hudson Hornet which will be unlocked soon. NOT DOWNLOADED!!! If you are going to do a list for the public, which is a good gesture by the way, then it can't be mis-leading. You need 2 classifications: Unlocked cars and DLC.

It has 510 pp stock, fast as hell too.

So, having to DOWNLOAD a patch that adds CONTENT, doesn't make it DOWNLOAD CONTENT?

Noted.

(sorg never mentioned he was on 1.00 when he found the two cars)

So where did you download v1.01 then? Was it not from the Playstation servers?

To add to mine and SVT Cobra GT's points.

GT5 DLC was downloaded, not through the store, but through patches, like a good majority of other games do as well.

And if you download PSN version of GT6, then ALL cars and tracks become DLC? Weird logic. Word "Download" has nothing to do in terms of DLC.
DLC is additional/bonus content which is not a part of the main game. You won't get DLC cars through game career progress, neither through any updates. Strictly speaking DLC is a content you have to pay additionaly. In some cases this content offered as free which some people mess it with game updates giving some additional content as an evolution of game.
Actually, all DLC are paid. Preorder DLC cars are actually also paid but indirectly - you gave guaranties to the publisher that you will buy the game and thus they can speedup their income at the start of sales. Thus strictly speaking, even 15th anniv cars are paid.

No, you're taking what I said and skewing it into something else completely. Digital games are not DLC, and I never said they were.

Going by your logic, and saying that DLC isn't obtained through game updates, then nothing that was added to GT5 was DLC by your definition, because that was added through updates, and the only thing bought/downloaded from the Playstation Store was the unlock key for the content.

Could add a section of expected DLC (ie the GT Vision cars), and speculation (ie future anticipated DLC - ie Senna Lotus 97T F1 car in May)

I think that the discussion regarding how we define DLC isn't really of importance, I take it that the purpose of this thread is to summarise the additional content that players could have in comparison with the vanilla original release of the game V1.00.

Spa & Motegi and the C7 on GT5 were DLC. Cos you had to choose to go and (pay) get them.
These M4 & NSX are in the game, yes via a patch, but it's not DLC. DLC is just a three letter acronym, that no longer means what the three words included in it meant.
DLC is external content that you need to go and get optionally (ani cars).
Stop being pedantic and arguementative people. We all know what the letters dlc stand for, but that's not what dlc is in terms of console and gaming based additional content.

And ye exactly one section for proper dlc. And then another for content that was added to the game (available to all) in these miniupdates.

and the only thing bought/downloaded from the Playstation Store was the unlock key for the content.
Exactly. That's why it called as DLC. Any other content appeared in the game without downloading unlocking keys are NOT DLC. Finally, you've understood the difference 💡

Correct, Playstation servers - NOT Playstation STORE!!!! Big difference.

The Playstation store is on the Playstation servers. The same place.

Don't be so ridiculous. My local Argos is in the same town as Tescos, doesn't make it the same place!! They are 2 seperate entities. When you go to the Playstation store you have to physicaly make that action, a seperate choice to just loading up the game and installing a new patch. How hard is that to understand?

So where is the download stored when it's available? On some Playstation server somewhere?

It's pointless discussing this with you, I don't want to lower myself to your level.

Alright wind your neck in. No need to get personal. I'm asking a serious question here seeing as how you seem to be so confident in what you're saying about something technical that's based thousands of miles away.

What a way to spend your time, discussing the definition of DLC. You should be grinding or glitching credits instead.

Let's all calm down and enjoy the main point of the thread, which is keep everyone informed about which patch is the latest and which cars have been added to the game in the meantime!

lets hope that Seattle would return as well, thats an old GT track for the series, i would like to try my new NSX concept on it.

It has 510 pp stock, fast as hell too.

Haha oops! I mean 600pp! Just did a race with it on the Nurb, lovely car. Just needs an interior so bad!

Who knew this would turn into a Theories of Downloadable Content 101.

If it wasn't on the disc or added through an update just put it on the list for simplicity.

Ups! My mistake, but already solved it!
