Maybe or maybe the only thing there right now is the icons and the message and the actual content will be part of a Jan 1 update along with the next batch of seasonals which they also indicated would be Jan 1I think they are already in game. GT6 time checks every time you turn it on. If your XMB clock is wrong it tells you to fix it. I think it'll unlock the moment the game sees January 1st.
Oh don't get me wrong, I luv free stuff. But I was just wondering when cars start to get expensive.U dont like FREE DLC![]()

it is 1/1/14 in various parts of the world, and no one has it yet, almost assuredly an update, even if the event info is in v1.02I think they are already in game. No DLC track in December 2013 is OK as it is the month of the game release.
It should start in January. I would guess during the two last weeks as there will already be the Redbull thing on January 1st + seasonal events supposed to grant 6 millions credits
I think the 12 million was for both seasonal events. IE. the current 3 and the incoming 3 tomorrow or Wednesday.or 12Mil with 200% login bonus.

EDIT:
Furthermore, a second bonus event is planned to be held from 2 January 2014 3:00AM GMT to 30 January 2014 3:00AM. Again, this event will allow you to win up to 6,000,000 credits when combined with the Consecutive Login Bonus, so if you participate in both special events you could earn up to 12,000,000 credits!
“We don’t have a definite order yet of things, but, you know, January, February, March, April, May, etc., we have updates planned for each of those months, and there are actually more things too which we still can’t mention! [Laughs.]
“We do already have a big update coming in December, and in January there will probably be two big updates. And that’s because there’s a lot of things, such as the unveiling of new cars, which we have no control over.”
Taken from the post-release interview. I feel as though we will be getting DLC sometime this month.
Judging from that interview, I'd say so. It's nice to see that they have updates planned for every month though. Even after January it seems as though we'll be getting loads of new content.January looks like it will be a very interesting month.

I wouldn't call nearly 400,000 disc copies (as that chart doesn't include digital copies) in 1 week (as those numbers are from 14th December) and #1 in Europe to be 'poor sales.'Don't be surprised that if the shockingly horrible sales continue, DLC is scaled back in favour of ramping up the development schedule for GT7. Sales are down dramatically relative to GT5 over the same time period and falling rapidly if we can trust the data from http://www.vgchartz.com/ There's no way they'll be throwing money at a failing title when the likely scapegoat will be that it was released on an old console and all else the same it would have done better on PS4. Of course probably all the DLC will be transferable to GT7 so you might see it anyway, but I expect they are in a real tizzy at this moment at PD/Sony and who knows what they'll do face with poor sales for the first time in franchise history.
Relative to previous releases those sales aren't poor, they're disastrous. I believe GT5 was over 5 Million by the end of December 2010. Perhaps Digital sales will make up some of that, but not 3+ Million units. If people are waiting for reviews then that's not going to help sales either. Huge chunks of the game are missing and some of the included parts aren't working all that well.I wouldn't call nearly 400,000 disc copies (as that chart doesn't include digital copies) in 1 week (as those numbers are from 14th December) and #1 in Europe to be 'poor sales.'
Most likely people are waiting to hear reviews on it before they spend $60 on junk like they did with GT5. With time, 'XL' editions, lower prices, etc. I doubt it will be anything 'disastrous'.
