Discuss, share, and collaborate on pages of the GTPlanet Game Guides.

https://www.gtplanet.net/guides Is the link.

I'm guessing a discussion of a GTP wiki we can edit and use and etc.

Aka a huge website we can use to make our own entries concerning Gran Turismo stuff (I'm assuming) and maybe some off-topic yada yada like about our cars, computers, etc.

Who knows :)

"The Suzuki Escudo has the highest horsepower achieveable in Gran Turismo 3.

--escudo can't turn. it is teh ghey!1 :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy:

This is a Gran Turismo 3 related stub. You can help by expanding it."

God, I can see it now.

Stat for ya.

People who tamper with wiki entries are usually fixed within five minutes.

I'm sure the mods will monitor the wiki entries just like how the mods monitor our posts.

Also, now you have to register (i believe) to make/edit entries.

And if you tamper with the entries...That may carry over to the boards as a warning/ban :scared:

They can ban your IP from the wiki (as far as editing and/or maybe looking at the wiki)

Damn... I would love to work on this. I hope everything goes up soon.

A lot of others (Scaff et al) have already laid the groundwork... we just need to fill in the cracks.

I'm more inclined to Wikifiddle now it's fully integrated - and have indeed been doing so.

What is more interesting is what you see when you look up GTPlanet in Wikipedia...
Wikipedia is one of the few sites I can visit while I'm at work. Damn websense........ Anyways, I looked up gtplanet, but there wasn't much on there. There was also some warning or something about some dispute?

Edit:
Okay, here's what it says about GTP:
Wikipedia.com
GTPlanet is the web's largest online community dedicated to the Gran Turismo racing game series for the PlayStation/PlayStation 2. The website features message boards, videos, and game guides to help fans work through the game.

The site was created in something close to the current format on May 14th 2001, though has undergone several revisions since then. At the time this article was last updated, the site had swollen to almost 81,000 members, making over 1.8 million posts between them.
And here's what I thought was some sort of warning:
This article is being considered for deletion for the 2nd time in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policy.
Please share your thoughts on the matter at this article's entry on the Articles for Deletion page.
You are welcome to edit this article, but please do not blank this article or remove this notice while the discussion is in progress. For more information, particularly on merging or moving the article during the discussion, read the Guide to Deletion.

Why are they deleting it?

Anyways, if you haven't had enough updating already, there is a new version of MediaWiki that was released today. Version 1.5.5. It was released to make sure nobody gets the WMF (Windows Meta File) virus.

More info in my post here - http://mwusers.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1878

I updated my Travian Wiki in 30 minutes because it was at v. 1.5.2 and I only had to overwrite the old files with the new ones. I still need to upgrade photoshopedia.

It would take you longer because the GTP Guides are at like version 1.4.x last time I checked.

Click on the bit that says "Articles for Deletion".

It appears that they've already deleted it once, and had a change of mind.
