Do u drive with TCS/ASM off?

It depends on the car I'm using and what I want it to do. If I want to drift I use lower settings. Higher settings for a more stable car. I hardly ever have them set off or all the way on.
 
Dude. That is sooo hard. For a laugh, I tried to take a Supra RZ (1001 horsepower, obviously) to Laguna Seca and turn ASM and TCS to zero. I did donuts before starting the clock for a bit then I got serious. I think I spun out on every turn but the corkscrew (I'm a master with the Seca's corkscrew), even the "easy" turns.
 
I use the Logitech wheel - it is a source of embarassment to me that I had to run the Lotus and Zonda events with them on - but I'll be redressing that shortly....
 
Never!! We've all learned to live without it in the previous GT's so why use it now? It's just not natural!! :lol:
 
Always off here too, nomatter what I'm driving it's off. I drive perfectly fine with it off, sometimes with it on I mess up cause I like to swing the cars out on the corners, and then ASM puts the brakes on and it slows me down a lot...
 
I really do not like to drive with it off. I once tried it and could not get used to it. I usually just drive with both of them on. :)

Nope, in this case you don't drive the car, TCS and ASM drive the car for you;)
 
Electronics... ermm ... NO! I have them permanently off in my real cars too... I didn't want airbags and other **** but i just couldn't order my car without it... Thank god my porsche doesn't have any of those... No airbags no electonics just pure fun...

I've always had it on, never even tried racing with it off! I'm sure I will soon, after I've done most of the races, or when I'm looking for something 'different' to do in the game!
 
I got annoyed the first time I played the game. I was all like "Hey these cars are too easy Its easyer than GT2". Then I turned it off and was ok. The only car in GT2 i needed TCS was the Cobra and this will be the same with GT3. TCS and ASM makes makes it feel like your driving on rails Man :rolleyes:
 
I like to turn them off when i want to drift any supercar, get me, just get the tail out whayyyyyy! lol
 
Yeah, I can drive with them off, but it screws up a lot with that 1001-horsepower Supra RWD. It redlines when it isn't going anywhere NEAR fast enough for an upshift, but I'm a wimp, so I upshift. At Midfield, I got in a 'reccommended' sixth gear at 38MPH. 38!

I really drive well with half-decent cars, though, without ASM/TCS on. I got my one and only license test gold on the test on Complex String with the Skyline with ASM/TCS off.

I used to drive an automatic until three or four weeks ago when I realised it could shave several seconds a lap off my times!

Maybe you find it dumb... but i honestly didn't want that... I have a car for getting me the god damn A to B thing , and 2 cars to have fun , and sound systems, airbags etc make them heavier and take away the fun... As the electronics does... Don't ask me about safety... I drive in a helmet and i have a rollcage plus racing seats with 6 point seat belts , it's better than 12 airbags and 120 computers...

I'm dived the full tuned Escoudo without TCS/ASM and I'm used the Simulation tires ! ( On the Complex String !!! )

Thats verry hard.

But normality I'm have set the TCS/ASM to a minimum for moore realistic .
