I know i don't. It overpowers both the soup and the bread itself.

No, I use crackers.

Maybe so, but that is strickly clam chowder or cheese fondue.

Cheese fondue is a soup, for the most part.

Depends. Soup I usually use crackers, or if I'm feeling dangerous I use bread. For ramen noodles I use bread.

Dipping peanut butter and cheese sandwiches in hot chicken soup is the best when you have a cold. I know, it sounds gross, but it isn't. Try it sometime. You will feel better.

dipping a pepperoni calzone in marinara is even better

I do. Bread's too dry without other stuff to un-dry it. Ditto with crackers.

i never dip anything in soup, because you always get these little pices that stay in there, then you drink the rest of your soup and you got this soggy thats been soaking for 5 minutes:yuck:

I don't eat, drink :odd: err, consume soup.

Nor do I dip something else into a drink.

Why i don't cook in my house. if i do i get, eeww onions, to much garlic, ect.

That depends on the type of soup.

For a thin, runny soup, like tomato soup, I use crushed crackers to help thicken it.
For a thick, creamy soup, like cream of broccoli or potato soup, I use bread to add flavor to it and help disperse the heat. It can't be any bread, mind you, I use a white bread or a potato bread for the best results. Maybe a rye on occasion.

I dont dip bresd in soup probaly because I dont like soup.

There is a distinction to be drawn. Adding bread from the start to thicken the soup, or dipping bread to give bread some taste.

a) :yuck:, the consistency of the soup becomes aweful
b) hmm, ok, but depends on type of soup. Veggie soup and bread = no no.

PS: What exactly is clam chowder? I always hear of it, but what is in it?

Clam chowder crushing up like 50 packets of crackers... mmm... <heaven>

I love dipping garlic toast into the broth that comes in a bowl of steamed clams, add to that a big ass beer and mmmmm.
