Do you have to pay to fix damage?

When you acquire damage to your car, do you have to pay to get it fixed? Like you do for a oil change?

I don't know if it is really linked to damage, but in "GT auto" you can rebuild the engine and increase (or rebuild) the solidity of the car.

I do this on used car, just after, you cant do it again, but after one race, the repair is available again.
For the engine, you can see if it is damaged/used (decrease of hp) but for the structure (chassis) i don't know

edit: for now i didn't see any decrease of the price because of damage (this can change depending of option, lvl??)

You don't have to fix it yourself, but there is a chassis refresh option, and the fatigue of the chassis may be linked to how hard you crash.

Otherwise I heard that the cost of damage is deducted from your winnings.

you have to pay to repair and re-build your car/engine in the GT auto shop...

I believe you have to pay a $ amount of money at the end of the race for the total damage based on one of the videos I saw.
