Do you leave your car(s) stock?

I have been trending lately to leave all my cars stock. Everything but the tires. I find I like to enjoy the true nature of the car without altering the original performance / handling. With so many different cars in the game I feel that you can win every event with a stock car. You just have to pick the right one.

If I do end up altering a car I buy a second one just to have stock. I color code them to keep track LOL.

What do you all think about it?

some stock,some tuned

I started out with max tuning each car i bought, but then i bought some of them again for the purpose of leaving them stock (except for the rigidity improvovement and multiple sets of tires)

Yes, so did i, i buy replicas to have as stock.

Yes, at first I tuned all my cars but now I buy a second car for tuning and leave one stock. What I'd like to see is some sort of 'stock icon' next to the car's name to make clear that it's a stock car. Or maybe the option to nickname your car's.

I like upgrading my cars, but I do have stock versions of my upgraded cars as well.

I keep my large collection of Ferrari's and Lamborghini's stock, even changing the tyres ruins the enjoyment of driving them in my opinion. I always see people online in hideous looking exotic cars with huge wings..

I like trying them out after an oil change to see how they drive and perform.

Some of mine are stock or stock-like (no PP upgrades).

You could always pick a certain color for the stock cars. What i'm doing now is keeping all my stock cars black and modded cars any other colors.

I buy a second version of any car I like to keep stock... but only premium ones...

I buy parts but I avoid weight reduction and engine tuning as these changes cannot be undone. Simply because I like to keep the possibility of going back to stock. However, I have a duplicate for the cars that I have tuned beyond "repair".

The majority of my cars are fully tuned, but recently I found myself lightly tuning cars. Like a sports air filter, sports exhaust, sports suspension, and/or some softer "Sports" tires.
I also enjoy tuning older cars to match their more present spec. Like tuning the GT-R to have 530hp just as the 2012 model. Or tuning a new Camaro to the likes of the upcoming ZL-1.
I've also tuned one or two cars to match the specifications to my own car in real life.

It's more realistic to me conservatively tune a car.

I always but two cars (same). One I leave stock and the other I tune. A lot of my cars are fully tuned but a couple are tuned lightly so that they don't sound the same as the fully tuned.

I'm going to do this with the Ferrari's (race cars excluded). My stock cars will be Red and my Tuned ones will be black.

I keep everything stock. I have a few that are race modified (RM)- Acura/Honda NSX, Corvette ZR1/Z06, TVR. etc. But those that not are kept as is with no engine or aero upgrade. Most of the time I would even keep the original wheels (on premium). I've been doing that since GT4.

I normally tune my cars to the 🤬 and if I then get the urge to see what they are like stock, buy another. Only exception being the F40 which would be sacrilegious to add anything.

If i like a car i usually by 2 or 3 of them. I leave one bone stock and tune the others. I just like to get the true feeling of a car.

I think this is a brilliant idea.

Usually I end up buying another, if I think I ruined it by tuning, but all my cars are almost fully tuned. My favorite stock car is the Ferrari 458, and I might be one of the few who prefer the stock version to the upgraded one.

I buy all the modifications that can be removed, and for cars that I like, I buy another copy with nonremovable tunes.

F40 which would be sacrilegious to add anything.

You should try a 650 hp F40 with close gear ratios.

The thing is, none of the stock cars in the game are actually "stock".,You always need to buy the racing suspension to remove the obligatory rear toe on every car as well as adjust the brake balance to a more realistic setting. Simply buying a car and driving it does not mean you are getting the most authentic experience.

I find most cars are underpowered in stock form, so they ususally get more juice. I try to leave the suspension and tyres as standard as not to ruin the character too much.

What I'm not into is spending hours making something like the Yellowbird completely different, that handles nothing like the original. I want to tame it with my hands and feet not tuning.

I try to keep most of my car close to stock or with very light modifications. I might upgrade the suspension to the fixed sport kit and tires to sport soft.

I've upgraded a couple of my Gallardos to the specifications of the Superleggera's and an Enzo to the specs of the FXX as well as a McLaren F1 to the F1 LM.

It is tough to do any racing online if most of your cars are in stock form so I do have some heavily modded also.
