Do you think GT5 has made you a better driver?

Too true, that! Many a time I've banged it down a gear when it looks like I'm running wide, yet the car sticks like glue... Still, the basic principle is there. Naturally I take a lot more care when driving on the road; I don't tend to run the inside two wheels over kerbs, for example... :sly:

In my street car? Well, a little bit of a late-apex while going on/off highway ramps, sure, but... Curb hopping is reserved for my Jetta TDI Cup car (in iRacing.)

It really depends. GT and racing games made me a better motorcycle rider by exposing me to apex negotiation and proper lines through curves and corners before I even took riding classes. Motorcycle riding made me a better driver by teaching me the best ways to drive defensively, something you always have to do while riding. Things like, looking in other cars' mirrors to see if the driver is considering a lane change, passing properly, NOT passing a driver who is texting or doing anything where their eyes aren't on the road. Basically anticipating as much of the unexpected as possible and understanding the corresponding signs.
