Maybe car transfers, though I find it more enjoyable to start from the ground-up in a new game. Although, I'd still be fine if we could have a choice to choose either 5-10 cars or a certain percentage of your car count +1 extra (for those with large or small garages), if they had a forced transfer. I'm more interested in a small cash/XP bonus or maybe slightly exclusive content (like a car in special livery) at the start as a "thank you" gift for playing the previous game. As for the wheels, it depends on if GT6 will be for PS3 or PS4; if it's for PS4, then it's likely that the wheels won't be compatible, but there'll probably be new hardware out there by then. I'd imagine everything compatible with GT5 will be compatible with GT6 if it's on PS3, I don't see why not...

I would like the same transfer method except not with cars. I want it like they had if you were using a memory card that had a GT3 save data while you were playing GT4 you were able to transfer over about Cr. 10,000.
Don't know why PD wouldn't use it anymore, but it wouldn't bother me if they didn't anyway.

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible, since the save file just tells you that you own certain cars. Even if GT6 is on the PS4, the game should still be able to read the save file from a USB flash drive and see what cars you have unlocked. Of course the polygon model and the tuning for any particular car could be entirely different, but the only question that needs to be answered is whether or not you own the car.
That said, I think it would be pretty limited, as giving you your previous cars would "spoil" much of the collecting aspect.
