I think there was a hidden one in GT3(not a RuF).

It's a shame that EA has a hold on it. All they do is arcade racers..

Maybe a deal can be made. As long as PD advertises the next battlefield 3 expansion pack on GT6 using billboards, they can use Porsche..

Well when they first got the license 2002 it was a 10 year deal... cant find an official source... only plenty of unofficial statments.

That's one of the reasons I think Porsche is coming to GT. Many reports are saying the Sony and EA are "buddies" now, so I think that Porshce is one of the "surprises" coming through DLC.

Sony and EA are just working closer together on the battlefield3 thing I doubt they will give the Licensee to Sony at all

So far all porsches are slow..theyd get killed on Nurburg from others, like Honda, Lexus and so on. But i still want them just to go with "only porsche" races and enjoy one of the best cars. But if it doesnt sound like a porsche then they can drop it...

PS: think that sales of Shift 2 was low and this will end the exclusive deal with EA. Then again, GT5 is only PS3...EA games are cross platforms and reach bigger audience.

EA pulled the Porsche sub license from T10 because they realise that Forza was a big competitor for their series. They won't be giving it to PD for the same reason. They would just be giving up one of the few things NFS has over FM and GT

I can't see how it possibly could happen until Sony/PD (as well as other developers) has a serious talk with EA. And I think we'd hear about that when it happens. Can't there be a sticky or something that says it isn't likely we'll see Porsches until about 1,5-3 years from now, it just seems pretty impossible. One can dream though.
