If so, what, how, and why? Just curious. I usually run my car with the average weight, and power compared to the rest of the field, then use one grade worse tire than B-spec for that race. Just wondering if and what anybody else is trying?
Why cripple a work of art? It is not fun at all. Trying to handle a fully upgraded monst in tight roads with all aids disabled is fun!

Oh, come on. Nobody likes a little challenge? Besides, it's fun to drive stock cars. Pretty much any car. Upgrading your car when you first get it, I understand because I used to do it in GT4. But, now it's just foolish, unless I have to win a race. If you want, give it little sports upgrades but nothing big. Mix it up a bit, choo know?
Hell yeah, pretty much all the time. I take a class under what the AI is using to make races more challenging.
I'll take a GT500 or DTM if the AI is using group C cars, and a GT300 if it's using GT500s. And so on.
Sadly It's the only way to go if you want some decent challenge in A-spec.
