Does anybody ever drive a Mini Cooper 1.31?

I was just curious, does anybody actually drive tha Mini Cooper after they win it? 💡

I don't think anyone in the forum would drive a mini unless it was a time trial thing. The car is slow, I wouldn't even use it as a starter car, and I think most of the people here can 2nd me on that.

Fitted with all the right parts and tuned well the Mini is quite a quick car. Many people drive it here. I can win the professional FWD races with one so it is not as slow as you think.

Impossible to use it as a starter car as it can only be won and not bought.

Well, in theory; you could win it, start another game, and buy it off the first one. If it's cheap enough, I don't know that it is...

I'm a better driver then all my friends, so I end up using it quite a lot in vs. mode.
And why wouldn't you drive it? It's fun!

I did an i-link race a few days ago against 5 friends and we all used Arcade Minis around the Complex String. Suprisingly it was a draft-fest and I won by 0.006 seconds, much to my amusement.

I'm not I'd want to race it at the Test Course though, but it's fun through the twisties.

Minis are well cool...well slow but fun to drive!
I dont think it is possible to make a mini drive badly.

tuned to it's maximum potential, the Mini is a potinent little weapon. I love driving mine in everything from time-trials, to having a really good race with a New Beetle Cup Car at Monoco for the title of FF Champion! Don't diss it until you fully build one and try it out yourself! 👍

In my latest game, I won the Mini in the European Championship first, and then raced the Kei events. I bought a turbo for the Lagua Seca event, because the AI tends to "boost" there for some reason.

It's a Mini! You can't hate the progenitor of the small car!

Definitely a way to make the game more fun. Imagine watching the replay with 5 top end FWD cars being lead be a Mini. Seems unbelievable 👍

love the mini, especially around the technical track (speak of haing a tunnel vision). I want 1 IRL, my dad too.
I saw 1 long time ago IRL, zipping through the cones, flat. damn that thing flies...and actually got close to the Esprit 350's times..(were it not for the longish straight dash to the finish box, the mini would win it for sure).

The feeling would be quite similar to driving a go-kart with a helmet on..
Such a shame though, that in GT-3, the honda City turbo didn't come around...
