does anybody kno the name of the song or where i can get it at the beggining of the arcade disk with those old racers

Um, no - I remember in GT1 you could change the music in options and it had a big list of the songs, try that with GT2.

I think it's on an album called "Gran Turismo" by The Cardigans. The song is called "Losing My Favorite Game", I believe.

No, I watched the 100-Best One Hit Wonders on VH-1 a few months back (seriously, the most VH-1 I'd ever watched), and the Cardigans' #1 hit was up there. When explaining what the band did next, the cable station played a clip from "Losing my Favorite Game", and then flashed the cover of the album...called Gran Turismo (no car on the cover, but a sunrise on it if you're wondering). Makes me wonder if Sony's marketing execs didn't put them up to it...

I like that intro, particularly the old Jaguars, the Maserati and Cooper F1 cars, and other clips of cars driving all nutty. A shame it's on the Arcade disk only, but I guess you can't have 600 cars with an intro taking up all that room.

Yeah, it's funny...I noticed that the other day when popping in the Arcade disk. I never saw the point of that, but my friend bought the Wipeout II soundtrack long ago...not half bad if you're into that sort of music; it turns you on to different music.

I don't pay attention to GT2 music - I usually flip on an Eminem album or a bit of 28 Days while I'm playing GT.
