The 2.2 is also the only front wheel drive car that is fast enough to wheelie.

So much awesomeness in this post. Almost as awesome as the 2.2l itself.

Toyota only made the TS030 after the ACO denied their original entry of a 2.2L Camry.

My 2.8L Fiero will out beat your 2.2L Camwee in 0-Fire in 1.6 seconds. No one can be me, race wars.

I often take mine out regularly to drift comps. Thing has so much torque all you have to do is leave the E-Break engaged the whole time.

The 2.2L Camry has never been tested by Top Gear, the Stig himself said it's too much power for one man.

^ This post just won the thread.👍

When I drive my dads 1.6 Sentra I can beat 2.2 camrys, because I know how to. B)

One does not simply

Learn how to drive an SUV!!!

Use GTP as Facebook\twitter

Buy an Xbox and use it for one hour before wanting to sell it bc they wanted to try out forza and is to lazy to go to their friends house

See a gtr

Does not sell an slightly used iPhone

Cause face palms world wide.

Too bad only those on a higher level than us mortal beings can use such a beast of a sleeper to its full potential.

TB
Or F150s.

I love when people say they can beat anything with their truck haha. I mean, hell my F250 is pretty quick but it has reason to do so. It's so much funnier when people that have a relatively stock one say they can beat anything on the street XD

My family used to own a 1992 Toyota Camry 2.2L, but then it got into an accident.

Was it rear-ended by a Lambo owner that could not keep up with it and realized the only way to retribution was to destroy the car that ashamed and absolutely out-accel'ed him?

I drool in awe everytime I see a 2.2 L Camry... Every sighting must go in the DYSAGT thread.

I think he tried to show off before he raced the Camry and burned out his clutch like that one dude did to his Diablo on YouTube

Thank god whoever was driving that Camry was smart enough not to fall for it :sly:

You monster! Destroying one of these fine beasts should be a law punishable by death!

To the gallows with you and your family!

I thought hawkeye also has a 2.2 Camry?

I do. But mines a manual. Way too hardcore.
Toyota actually offered me an F1 seat, but they signed Ralf instead. Their loss.
Check out this mad speed. (Video by yours truly)

A record-breaking blast down Texas Springs- It was once an alternate for the Targa...

Feel the power...

That's just dirty. I'm amazed you didn't get pulled over. :scared:

The cops around here have Lambos. Luckily I can easily dust them.

I'll try to (in the near future) get a 0-70 run onto the freeway so you can see that this car is truly quick.

I'm actually now considering a Car review video done by me and some mates, since the entire motoring world has obviously missed it... Would anyone care to watch that? I think it would be a great weekend project for me and my mates.

^^^^^I don't want to live on this planet anymore

Since I took notice of the super fast Toyota Camry 2.2 I tried to track one down in real life. But that car is also ultra rare. Searching and watching since months in the cities, on the Autobahn - no Camry around. I`ve seen Lamborghinis, Ferraris, SLS AMGs - even a Bugatti Veyron in Geneva - but no Toyota Camry 2.2

And this story is true!

Does anyone actually have a link to the origional....

Camry racer post..... :D

My parents once owned a 1996 2.2L Camry wagon.
Unfortunately, with all the extra weight, it could never be as quick or as hardcore
as the legendary 1997-2002 2.2L sedan.
I heard that those things are faster than Ferraris!:sly:
