I am not a fan. Give me Eiger or Suzuka anyday.
Followed by Fuji and HSR
Then Daytona and London are my bottom 2.

I like driving around this track because I used to live in that area for 3 years when I was doing my undergraduate. That was 3 years ago.

I had numerous racers there last night with a1PAPAOSA, awsome running nose to tail most of the 5 laps. Thanks for the great racing mate.👍 always a pleasure runing against you.:D

London is probably PD's worst street circuit to date (except George V). Normally they try and encompass famous landmarks with a fun layout, such as New York and Opera Paris. However here it seems they have just tried to link Trafalgar Square and Picadilly Circus with no thought about the layout.

The track needs a 1-2km extension around some wider streets with some straights, while keeping the current track as "London Short", as that would give the track some variety and overtaking points. For example at Pic circus you could go down Picadilly to Hyde Park corner, then up Park lane to Marble arch, then down Oxford Street, and back down Regent Street to Picadilly circus to rejoin the track. The whole thing comes to about 6.5km which is reasonable, try it on google maps.

I never race the London track, though it's alright for time trial. Same goes for Eiger. The best tracks in the game are Suzuka, Fuji, HSR and Daytona in that order.

I really enjoy London Reverse, especially in RWD monsters like the Tuscan and the Viper. It's also good fun for me as I pass those actual streets on a weekly basis. I haven't at all gotten the hang of London Forward yet.

Most WRS regulars won't be able to avoid it as it's turned up a few times in combos for that weekly competition.

All the best

I don't like either London or Eiger for racing on but I can time attack all day on Eiger. I just don't like London at all.

It's a really great track, if you're arcade racing against AI in 550-600PP cars for 5 laps or so. Set the AI a little higher than your own car's default and you will get nice races where the AI has the advantage in the first part of the track and you can nicely catch up through the 90° corners and the last chicane (AI doesn't go over the curbs there which gives you a big speed advantage coming onto start/finish). I don't know how many races I was able to win running with more speed through the final corner of the final lap there. Makes you shout out in triumph as you pass inches before the finishing line...

The important thing for a good lap-time is to flow through those 90°-corners and carry a lot of speed through. And, other than some other posters here, I feel there's a lot of overtaking opportunities. First hairpin, into Trafalgar square right-hander is a bit of a stretch, but both 90°-corners are also possible. And if you're being blocked on the inside for braking, come from outside and overtake with better line carrying more speed after the corner. Works like a charm.

This is my least favorite track. London and Eiger are to short and to narrow to do any good side by side racing. It seems like if you start 10th you are going to finish 10th. Unless the person in front of you makes an error and you can get a nose in, you are pretty much stuck in your running order.
Give my Daytona Road and I'll be a happy man!

Forget about how easy it is for the usual kind of gamer to put or at least try to put you in the wall (not as easy as you think on the London circuit), forget about those gamers who lower their pp, thinking if i start at the front I'm bound to win. It's actually a fun track to drive, once you get the hang of it and overcome maybe the frustration of bouncing off the walls while you learn the track, probably here more than any other track you do need to learn the lines and braking points, coming up behind a slower car, your view is limited, but practice, practice and you will see it is a neat little track and besides you can get loads of races in as 5 laps running 54/55's doesnt take long

London is definitely in my top ten tracks of the GT franchise behind Rome Circuit, Monaco, one of the special routes at night, Apricot Hill, and a few others.

Tracks like London and Eiger for that matter are definitely love/hate tracks. I personally don't like them at all,👎 so I don't really use them apart from in situations where I have too. :yuck: However I accept that some people love these tracks and have a right to race them whenever they want,👍 as long as they don't try to force their views on me. :sly:

London is great, it feels different from many of the larger tracks. It's also the only track that I can't destroy the AI on.

It's not one of my favourites in the GT series, but I love to drives Hot Hatches and four-wheel drive cars round there.

I love London as a time trial track. Racing on it with 12 others cars is difficult with the narrow width of the track but still very entertaining!

I absolutely love this track, especially lately. Though I only do the normal one, at first sight I don't think I'll like the reverse so much, unlike Eiger. London is just so fluent, the corners are very nice, especially the fast ones after the hairpin, pretty technical. I also like the 90 degree turns, as you have to watch your traction alot. If you can't overtake here, here's something you can do: Dare a bit more to go side by side. You can overtake into almost every corner (at least I did it with AI) And make the opponents less good.

I used to hate this track...but, things have changed. I LOVE this track, and often race 40 lap races on it uses any car I want; awesome.

This changed happened instantly when I got a DFGT and a WSP: incredible track.

However, with the pad, this track was awful and I was simply not able to maximise my car and the track, but now I love to drive it, can't wait to try all the different tracks in GT5!

I used to hate it because I can't make out the correct racing line, and I always crashed at the second corner (fast left-right) and last corner. But after messing around and spending more time with it my perspective changed. London is an awesomely fun track, better than Eiger in some respect. When you nail a perfect lap it feels very similar to SSR11, which is my all time favourite track.

Couple of things could be better though, like the placement of kerbs. I don't think there should be any kerbs at all, except maybe at the two 90 degree corners near the end of the lap.

It's not PD's best fictional track, but it's far from the worst.

I love it as a time trial track, but it makes one crappy racetrack, with any kind of close competition, it'd be way to difficult to pass, ya know, without ramming anybody into a wall.
