Dunno about you lot but for me the ONLY thing i feel i really need is the Nurburgring:) I would happily pay a fiver for a dlc and i think PD would do well with extra content (Cars/Tracks) on the PS store,
Is there any chance this could ever happen,
until i got gt5p gt4 was the only ps2 game allowed in my ps3 purely for the ring:) but for me you just can't backtrack with gt games because they all improve so much,

So can i have the Nurburgring please?????????????

Yes, and no. Yes because the Ring is an awesome track, no because I'm not awesome at it LOL ;)

I think DLC is going to happen, and probably cheap or free, but many seem to doubt that. I think PD knows they have a pretty dedicated fan base, and will likely reward those of us who stick it out with them.

I'd quite like to see the Ring back, it was good fun in GT4 and TT. I can imagine online races being amusing simply because there'd be such a difference over the laps between the good drivers and the not so good drivers!

I'd also like to see Valencia from TT make an appearance in GT5,cracking track that.

Laguna Seca for me. I like the ring but it takes so long that I rarely ever find my lap times as close as on a normal track. I'm one of those masochistic wierdos that likes spending a whole evening tweaking my setup to shave a couple of hundredths off my personal best.

Like i said, The cost thing really doesn't bother me, its like anything i suppose if you want it bad enough you'll pay for it, Also i think its a bit of a tease that on the menu screen the cars seem to be pictured at Nurburg and the other places close to THE track,
and the GTTV vids of the GTR are mainly focused on the RING
Come on Polyphony i will wait till 2010 for GT5 without complaining if i can have the RING

they should not make it really expensive as this is 'only' the prologue ... also i think that PD said it would be free or something like that?. If they make it expensive (+2euro) i will not buy it, i will wait for full gt game then. But maybe i cant buy it anyway, no psn cards in europe yet.

As I spent more than 50% of my time in GT4 on the Ring, I totally agree with you. Give me the Ring & GT5P physics & I will be happy for months! :)

Tracks like Laguna Seca will be infinitely more interesting with the new physics - the Corkscrew was just way too easy in GT4 - now it will be a challenge.

As has been said Laguna is a great track as are most of the tracks used by the GT series so far, But the Ring is the ULTIMATE track and the (imo) biggest challenge of any circuit, Has anyone got KY's fone number? give him a bell and suggest he cracks on and starts work on making a beautiful RING for prologue

I'd be happy with one of these for Prologue.....
Laguana
The Ring
Spa

One track I would really like to have in GT is Spa Francorchamp, been there on a track day before and I love the place.

Yeah, but just imagine clocking some sick time around the ring and then some dork as the host that will check out after half a lap because he doesnt know the corners after the first 10 or 12.

I'd much rather have Laguna. Its one of only 2 real tracks I've ever driven a race car on, and 3 total that I've driven a car on. (except for my hometown Ocean Drive in Newport, RI... that is what I like to call a "road course" especially after 2am :).

I believe after turn four when you start going uphill it just slams you down into the seat and then when you're on the top at the corkscrew... its like driving down the side of a building. You almost feel weightless at the top. I love that track.

BUT! I will drive Spa someday. I will go through Eau Rouge flat and then, and only then will I be able to die happy.

the only track i have done in RL is Goodwood, have diven that twice and love it, would love to see it in GT. I have several mates trying to get me on the ring in RL a couple on my Yamaha R6 and a couple in my "engine modified" Ford Focus.

I'd like to see my home track, Oulton Park more than anything else :sly: It would be great for the Sunday-cup style races with the lower-powered cars up to supercars and touring cars.

But yeah, keep the new tracks coming PD! Although of course I would like to see a return of Le Mans and Red Rock Valley. Silverstone and Spa Francochamps are also personal favourites.

I don't usually like racing around the Nürburgring Nordschleife. I usually call it the "Nürburgring Nightmare." I will say this about the track- it is an amazing test of how well your car can perform as well as how attentive you can be at the wheel. I've seen the 24 Hours at the Nürburgring on TV a few times. I can't really imagine what it would look like with the PS3 treatment. I would recommend the Grand Prix circuit along with the massive Nordschleife. At least the Nürburgring Grand Prix course will offer a more sane race track to race on rather than only referring to the massive long course as the Nürburgring. There would even be extra incentive to this because you could race the ENTIRE 24-hour course.

Even though the Nordschleife is more recognized and more appreciated than the Grand Prix course, would you want the Grand Prix course as well as the full 24-hour configuration? I would even be interested in some of the different circuits around the Nordschleife. Anyone who has downloaded the Nürburgring All-Road track gives you various other configurations of the massive 12-mile course. But what do you all think about wanting the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the Grand Prix configuration, and the full 24-hour version of this track?

I'd like to see the alternate layouts of as many circuits as possible, it looks like thats what they may be doing anyway.

The one i want..............sorry NEED is the Nordshcliefe:)
The GP circuit would just be a nice bonus

How about getting a petition going and hope that someone "high up" in polyphony ( Pref the man himself ) takes notice? is the support there or am i wasting my time?
comments please

Do you guys honestly think you will see nurburgring in prologue? HA! That was the best track in GT4. The track was even in the weaksauce forza series. This track will again be one of the best tracks in the game and will probably be the most accurate recreation of nurburgring ever. lol.
If KY is reading this he is probably laughing.
Nurburgring and prologue don't belong in the same sentence.

In your opinion, The ring IS in prologue in a way, All the locations in germany where the cars are pictured in the menu??
The two vids in GTTV pretty much based on the ring??
Just need the main bit now:)
The North Loop:)

Actually, I first tried the Nurburgring in one of the PGR games (can't remember which one), but I first really got into it by playing the Japanese GT4 Demo, and driving the Falken R34 around the track. This demo had a few more cars available, and the time limit was removed. Practicing on this track is what convinced me to buy a DFP, which I have not regretted for one instant. I believe that this was in December of 2004, and it seems as if this was a good while before Gran Turismo 4 was released here in the U.S.

Nürburgring is definitely a cool track. I love it too.
I first raced on it in GT4, then in Enthusia, and now in Forza2.
And HD makes it even better : trees, crowd, it looks more and more realistic.
I can't wait to see it in GT5 [cross fingers], but I'll hardly buy a game that doesn't feature this track.

If the ring is not featured in GT5 then I will eat my own earwax

I think you know you've got a safe bet there fella:)
But i want it now:crazy: It would easily keep me quiet till GT5
C'mon its gotta be worth it just to shut me up eh?:)

I don't see why they didn't just release GT5 now and update it every month with new content until its the finished artical.

Obviously charge full price for the game and all downloads free.

The moment I looked through the track list I called my friend to say "there is no North course!!!!" grrrrr.......

Looking forward to additional tracks, used to spend alot of time in GT4 there and online on the bigbox....

This is the best idea that anyone in the world has ever had! 👍
