Does anyone have any licence plate SVG’s?

Following a gratefully received licence plate on my other thread for the DB5, I wondered if anyone had any generic plates in SVG format? I like to put plates on my car to make them look a bit more realistic for photos- I’m not too good at creating my own due to a lack of talent, does anyone have any that they could share? Primarily after UK plates but USA etc is cool too. Thanks!

I make a lot of plates, and always plates that belong to its real counterpart.

I usually make Norwegian plates, but I’ve done all sorts of plates. It’s no secret how I do it, I look up the car on finn.no and then I find the VIN if the plates aren’t listed, then I make the plates with the corresponding font. I like seeing the car with the plates though, so I get the right letter spacing.

And when the number is uploaded to the game, I start assembling. Background color first, then a black border, then the country tag, then the number. I dislike adding it all in one decal, in case I need to reposition something slightly.

I actually made few license plate decals before, mostly for various Arabian countries since I'm from Bahrain and most local plates i've seen in GT Sport weren't that good.

My first attempts were terrible since i tried to lazily use image tracing within Adobe Illustrator but eventually i made these two plates manually by hand and it looks really good imo.

I was going to make more as people requested me to but the 1.07 update have turned me off completely.

I'm mentioning all of this just in case i come back to working on them in my free time and maybe even start taking requests again.

:gtpflag:Hi, I/ve made up the attached plates, would like to add a GB or Cross of Saint George on the left side of the plate but can't find anything suitable. That aside the attached are still too big can you please advise how that they could be shrunk to fit into the 15kb .svg requirement for use in GT7? I would appreciate your help and advice.

Hmm, just check if there's any decals shared for that. I only have what I sent :)

Size can be reduced by running them through Xerocho's SVGOMG. Thought there shouldn't be any that are too big

Thanks for the reply. On my PC hey are 22.kb. What am I doing wrong?

Sorry to hijack this thread but are there any SVG makers who "specialise" in plates? I want a bunch for my car using localised variations of MIDNIGHT - not sure if anyone is making them or knows of any good templates to make them from?

I was hoping to make some UK, FR, DE, IT, JP, NZ, AU and USA plates.

Thank you, Thank you, such a simple solution
You got it. If you are replicating plates just allign the text you write on top of a photo of said plates and then you don’t have to think about spacing etc.

Get the Charles Wright font. Simply write it out in an editor of choice. Convert text to curves and voilà.

Here's a simple quick attempt, let me know what you think.
