I bought SOF II used and I'd say it's one of the best buys I got for a pc game. I use it to take out some agression at times. That would be kick ass if they came out with a new one that was even more realistic! More Gore and blood! Know a game that's close to this?

I've got some suggestions for you, but i'd stick with sof2.

One you should really try is call of duty its about world war or you can try the inferior battlefield 1942

Hey I think that Sof is the best multiplayer shooter game ever. The more the marrier. I think Gold is just the regular pc version and the ps2 version is just called sof2.

Btw, I have dial up but the_undertaker89 says it's supported

Make sure when you go to the server display screen that your thing is on internet not local.

So ok... I figured out that I have to be online but I have AOL as my way of getting on. When I go to Sof2 mulitplayer do I have to keep aol on or is there a way to dial in through Sof? I still don't see anything when I try to show a list of the servers.

yup AOL has to be on and then just open up the game. ANd enjoy

Ok... so let me get this straight... I know I have to have aol on but I'm on dial up so will I be able to shoot anything because it doesn't sound like I'll have enough refresh rate or whatever it is they use so that the game is smooth while I'm playing.

Well when I went to my cousins house to play this game when it came out he had dial up and we played it worked good so you probably wont have no problems my cousin gave me the game becuase he didnt have the time to play it. I was like yes.

Try messing with the internet settings in the game.

Just mess aroung with everything sooner or later youll get it. Think of things you haven't done yet. Don't quit you'll get it .

Hmm... it's kinda irritating it has to be that hard just to get online especially if it's on dial up. In other news I tried getting onto the network at my friends which had highspeed and it still didn't work. So I said **** it and d/led the Multiplayer Test demo (I think what you have undertaker) and it didn't work on that either.
