SmackDown wasn't that bad last night. I enjoyed the whole show.

Smackdown was alright, I liked the opening segment with NWO and I thought the main event gauntlet match was good, apart from that it was a bit average, Smackdown hasn't been great for a while now and Raw is the superior show at the moment.

Here is the cards for Elimination Chamber PPV tonight.

Kick-off Show

----------------------------------------------

Daniel Bryan v Drew Gulak

United States Championship
Andrade (c) v Humberto Carillo

Raw Tag Team Championship
The Street Profits (c) v Seth Rollins & Murphy

No Disqualification Match
Aleister Black v AJ Styles

Smackdown Tag Team Championship-Elimination Chamber Match
The Miz & John Morrison (c), Heavy Machinery, Lucha House Party, The Usos, The New Day, Dolph Ziggler & Bobby Roode.

Intercontinental Championship-1 on 3 Handicap Match
Braun Strowman (c) v Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro & Sami Zayn

Women's Elimination Chamber Match-Winner faces Becky Lynch for Raw Women's Championship at Wrestlemania
Natalya, Liv Morgan, Shayna Baszler, Asuka, Sarah Logan, Ruby Riott

Not a bad card but nothing amazing, I will probably watch it live.

No Pre-show match announced yet.

No People Gate was quite good fun last night, and is still up on the Stardom Official youtube channel if anybody didn't watch it but still wants to(it's about 2 hours). Liger as guest commentary and audience member was fun too, he certainly seemed to be having a great time. It was a bit strange watching with no crowd, but after 10 minutes or so it wasn't even a thing.

Wasn't Heavy Machinery off the cage match aafter losing?? :odd::odd:

If you're talking about the Smackdown match, it was for the last pod to open in the chamber.

I'm not at the match yet, half an hour behind. No spoilers.

Decent show crowd was basically dead. Liked the Bryan match and the tag team chamber match.

Wait... There's no male chamber match??

Bryan v Gulak, Black v Styles and the tag title chamber match all great matches, the rest were good or average, the women's chamber match was a walkover for Shayna eliminating all five other competitors, she was booked super strong for her Wrestlemania match. Didn't make for a good main event though.

Thought it was a good show but not a great one.

I, for one, was not expecting that winner of the main event. /s
Probs not gonna watch the whole show, but that swing into the chamber pod Liv took :scared:

Gotta admit, not one of the best PPV's I've seen. Wrestlemania better be worth the hype.

I was expecting Shayna to "casually" snap one of the girls' neck with those locks lol

I wasn't expecting Shayna to viciously slam Liv into the pod door like that. That was an OMG Moment for me, as well as Otis crashing through the pod.

Average PPV at best. All the results were predictable, except for the Handicap Match.

Match of the Day: Gulak vs. Bryan.

Worst match: Women's Elimination Chamber.

It was the first time in Chamber match history that one person eliminated all five other competitors in the match.

What about Sami Zayn becoming new IC champion, I didn't see that coming at all, I'm very happy for him, its his first title on the main roster, and he has been on the main roster for five years!

I hope Strowman will get his hands on him again. Or just give him a different title shot, maybe against Goldberg/Reigns after Wrestlemania.

So looks like Styles/Undertaker is on for Wrestlemania. As for "if I wanna watch it", the answer is debatable. Personally think that Ol' Marky C the Deady Dead Deadman should've called it a career at WM33, with WrestleMania 34 being the topper.

Speaking of calling it quits, 30th anniversary of his debut as The Undertaker is coming up this year so bear that in mind, us from the future.

Jeff Hardy and Paige will be on Smackdown on Friday, Paige will confront Bayley, Jeff hasn't had a match since last year.

Raw was good, highlights for me were the Orton/Edge/MVP segment, AJ Styles using Taker's wife Michelle McCool to call out Undertaker and Becky Lynch calling Shayna 'a black hole of charisma'

So former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski might be doing WWE things soon.

The Otis spot looked really really staged for me. The Shayna bit however really looked rough on Liv. Like it would really really hurt.

I wouldn't bet that she had a bad headache, let alone a concussion after that.

Side note: Interesting to see how WrestleMania will be dealt with considering the coronavirus outbreak.

Provisionally still on, may change by Thursday. Heard postponing until summer, empty arena, or straight-up cancellation are on the cards for contingency plans. SmackDown this week was cancelled from it's original venue, will run from the WWE Performance Center instead.

Mania from the performance center maybe?

Update: Turns out Smackdown is, as of now, still going on as normal this week. Performance Center turned out to be a contingency plan.

NXT was from the Performance Center last night and not Full Sail.

Away from the coronavirus related news, it was announced that the British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith will be inducted into this years Hall Of Fame.

Very happy with this news, its been a long time coming. 👍

WWE confirm that Smackdown this Friday will take place at the Performance Center, they said it will be 'essential personnel' only so it could be behind closed doors as well.

No word about Wrestlemania yet.

So, no crowds?
