Does PD need a new Halo car?

I kinda like the idea that a super duper rare only available if you gold everything car would be an old classic car like the first Ferrari ever made or something. Then people would have a rare car, it wouldn't be a "Halo" car so the kids wouldn't be duping/trading for it.

Had no idea Carbon X2010 was rare...traded a Diablo for mine :)

Almost 4k miles too, will probably ruin the horsepower from grinding the indy like the wind event.

People have short memories, before the Cr limit on trades people were practically giving away the x2010s every colour of the rainbow in exchange for the most mundane and cheap used cars that are possibly rare to some. If you aquired prototype carbon X2010 before the limit from a trade congrats :D

The X2010 is not too uncommon anymore since the exploit, so do you think PD should release a new Halo car for GT5? One that is only possible by getting 100% in the game, that way the market doesn't get flooded with them. Then there will be a new car to work for. Any other ideas?

Yes, Because you can't exploit it anymore, a car you will recieve after completing gold on every single race!! Including license, special event, and b-spec.
 
Would like to se several "Halo" cars, preferably untunable old classics.

Complete 100% A-Spec = 1957 Maserati 250F
Complete 100% B-Spec = 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT (Mad Max Interceptor)
100% Completion = First Model T Ford

Maybe they will add a carthat you can only obtain if you connect you 100% gt5p to your 100%gt5, so they sell more, and there is a new car

this is NOT Wipeout, this game should be Gran Turismo with cars like Maserati MC12, Aston Martin DBR9, things like that... come on.

Agreed. It was a good idea at first, just to see what kind of madness would come out, and it gives a completely fresh experience to blast through any track in a matter of seconds, but the idea never really fit the game.

There definitely shouldn't be any other cars like the X2010, and I don't think the car should be brought on to GT6 either. Like I said, the idea and vision was there, but now it's been done, that's kind of it.

I like the idea of a classic Ferrari or equivalent for 100% completion; for me that's the "ultimate car" under GT's definition. Not about pure speed, but heritage and historical significance. A couple of these "proper" halo cars would be welcome, but I don't think anything like the X2010 would fit.

On another note, does anyone think the name change from X1 to X2010 suggests there will be an X2011?

I hate them aswell... alot! :) Since I play not only GT5, but some other online games aswell.. cheaters spoil alot of good games.. at least GT5 online isnt hacked for now...
 
Its a fun and challenging car to drive. That said, that wasn't really the Halo car, there never was a halo car
