I have been grinding Le Mans 24hr in B-spec to get to level 40. I have probably ran it six times or so. The problem is that it is always raining. Not once have I seen the sunrise or set. My current race is no exception. Sixteen hours into it and it just quit raining. Of course, the sun is already up. Is this normal or is it just my bad luck?

Try to reload the race until it is not raining .? I know it works on Suzuka etc the one where it has mixed weather .

If you are doing it on Aspec that is.

I did the 24h of Le Mans A-spec during this weekend and, although I started the race in dry conditions, It rained during 19 hours straight. Restarting to get dry doesn't assure anything.

What gives if it's raining or not? You won't complete the 24h faster.

I've heard people raving about how good the sunrise/sunset transition is. I just want to see it at Le Mans on my TV.

I agree. I've started out on a dry track nearly every time. It always starts raining before sunset.

The morning sun is beautiful. I looked at my window and the sun rised at the very same time as in the game. Don't know if it was coincidence or if it's programed to follow the real clock. Didn't get to see the sunset though, it was cloudy and starting to rain.

I don't know if you've ever watched the 24 Hours of Le Mans or documentaries about it including Truth in 24, but one thing is said about the race "It always rains at Le Mans."

If you start I think around noon to 3 PM, time will go by like in real life. When in real life the sun sets, it will in the game as well. Right now is probably not the best time to try that because its winter now and its dark about 60-65% of the time.
