Im doing a race in the super GT right now first i can use 2 drivers and im 1/2 way through the race and the AI still hasnt hit the pits. Whats up with this? Do they ever pit?
The AI pitted on the 1st lap of most of the Dream Car championship just to change in and out of rain tires depending on the previous race's conditions. Absolutely laughable.
I've only seen the AI use the pit in endurance races. Even then, they won't be going as much as you. For the Indy 500, I go every 30 laps so I go about 6 times, while the AI only go every 40-ish laps which is about 4 times.
The AI has a habit of pitting after the frist lap in races where weather is on. In B-Spec the ai will pit in the extreme races or at least in the longer ones but they wait till the last second. For example if the race is 34 laps and they can get 30 laps on thier tires/fuel they will pit lap 30. Meanwhile I would pit at lap 17 and have much better laps than the AI for the next 13 laps.
