Does the anticipation of the next update demonstrate overall dissapointment in GT5?

Kaz said in early 2010 that they could release the game "anytime" they wanted to do so... And then he says he wanted 2 more years... he's insane!... he had the time and money to put something really espectacular on the table... And yet he failed... 👎

I am a huge fan of GT Series, but they are not committed to the users. They talk and promise thing and they never do what they say, what we need is a serious competitor to this anachronic series. Because PD does not keep their word. Lies lies lies.

PD is all about lies and ignoring their loyal fanbase...👎

I think people on here are trying to help PD the numerous amount of threads with polls on them to tell them what type of features people want first.

In GT5 it's been said many times, but people want a finished game not one that's only 60% complete.

As has also been said before I'm sure the casual player needs something to be hooked on for many months or even years, and while photomode is great that's not what keeps us, or others hooked.

No, harvester isn´t included, not yet. But if we will read the same complaints till the end of this year, I´m sure, Kaz will include harvester in GT6 incl. special scenery (harvest crop). It will be finally a blast for all "casual players".
BTW: "casual player" will be not hooked for many months or ages, that´s not possible, hence the phrase "casual player".

Ok so somebody is feeling the same way I'm feeling. The driving alone in this games keeps me hooked like I'm on something lol. I can never get bored, don't get me wrong GT5 can still get better which it will but I just can't see how people are saying it completely boring when it's so many cars test drive and master. Also racing with your friends is also a blast. Coming down the last straight then preparing for the last turn on the mountain neck to neck with your friend, and seeing him flip from the little hill in the corner is priceless. Bring on the new content!

Maxpontiac! What's up buddy I have been super busy with work and GT5 lol! GT5 will get better though but what's most important is that, The game makes me feel like Im driving. Every car feels unique and that's important to me they can polish this game up PD has plenty of time. Stay tuned.

Yeah, I believe PD has no choice. The racing genre is ultra competitive now.

I believe GT5 is a great game compared to others.. but a disappointment compared to Gran Turismo games in the past.

Chunks of it seem to be missing and it only kept me entertained for a month or two. Lack of content = a no go.

That's not what I really mean I'm just saying you look around you at other racing games whether they are arcade or sim. They have more than just racing. In simple terms they have more options. Yeah driving can keep you hooked, but if your career mode lasts only 2 weeks or a little longer vs. past GT games where it was upwards to 4 months + yeah that's not a good thing.
