I heard it does, add me I can put some cars up tomorrow but have shut down for the night tonight.(Robabza2)

Don't tell me you didn't have a backup...:ouch: I learnt the hard way too.

You know you're supposed to delete the Game data, not Save data right?

Also, you should ALWAYS keep a backup.

to answer your question... no there isnt a way to get it all back. you must rebuild

Yeah I already started. Haha luckily I have the dlc so I can start with some decent cars

So can I do it without a backup? Because I don't have a thumb drive. And yeah I deleted the wrong one

Just pick up a flash drive at your local dollar store or something, it doesn't have to be fancy or anything, they're pretty easy to come by.

Do you NEED the flash drive for the glitch?

After you borrow the car.
Save game.
Exit game.
Delete game data.
Load game.
DO NOT install patches.
Switch to another car.
Save game.
Exit game.
Load game.
Install patches.
Enjoy. More lengthy now due to more patches/updates but same process.

Cobra. Send me a PM with ur PSN and I'll send you some performance parts to help you get started back up. Once I'm done with my trades I owe I'll send you a car or two.

I tried it twice and didn't work. After I start the game and cancel the patches it freezes
That's because in the last update (2.05) they made they game freeze at start up if you weren't on the latest version of the game. The glitch isn't possible any more.

I can confirm that it still does work as of today...I did it myself right now...

BUT it looks like certain cars come out with that "freeze." I have done it with about 10 cars successfully (being on the 2.05 update) but now I am not able to towards the RX-7 LM Race Car and I don't know why.

But I can confirm that it does work under certain circumstances...

Well I'm afraid to try again since I already lost all my cars :/

I am sympathetic to your situation...i am sorry that had happened to you...I can't imagine...

...But, as many have said here (i hate that it's information that has been received too late), everything will go alright as long as you keep a copy of your original game save (NOT game data, right?). I keep 2 copies (or 3 depending on if you count my PS3 Backup Utility save), on 2 different flash drives and can keep around more if you move it to other accounts on your ps3.
That way, no matter what you do, you can always bring it back to that original save...

You don't have any backups at all that you can think of? Have you never run the Backup Utility from PS3? Do you have Playstation Plus? If you had Playstation +, there's an option on automatic saving of game saves I believe....

Good luck to you...
