uhmm can anyone explain to me how to do a 360?? mine usually spins out and loses too much speed... i am using cudamans fc setting :banghead:

erm..

1st. you dont need a specific Setup.. just turn ACM and TCM off...

the tecnique, is to hold the Ebrake and the throttle down, then easily release the Ebrake, when the car starts to drive forwards, you tap the Ebrake, until the car is spinning... pratice pratice and practice.. finally it will work!:odd: :D

Phillip, you have got to quit giving advice. No one can beleive anything you say. Oh, and about your advice: What the **** are you thinking.

I get the feeling he's talking about high speed 360s like you would do for a 360-Drift instead of donut style 360s..but I could be wrong.

Oh, just feint motion a couple times, really whip it around and spin. If I start to spin when exiting or during a turn, I force it and just make a complete rotation to recover faster. I do it really smoothly now. I only loose a second or two usually. But even f I mess up, the recovery is usally quick than if I didn't try in the first place due to the cars position.

I still can't do 360-drifts for ****. I always end up starting the spin too early or too late, or I lose too much speed in the spin and don't have enough to drift the corner. I can never get the spin right either. I always end up either spinning way too fast or way too slow...:(

mostly it's just a combination of 180 and reverse 180... for FRs just whip it around and floor it... not very difficult. As for high speeds.. nope, ain't happening.

Here's how I do it. Make sure you have plenty of space though. :D

Yank the e-brake and turn, and you'll start to spin (obviously.) RIGHT before you get to a 180 (looking the opposite way you started,) get off the ebrake and back on the gas. It should come straight and you should still be carrying speed.

best advice i can give is the prepare for the turn...sorta. Like once u finish the first 180, consider. If you wanna do a 360 to the right, you would floor it to the right, and right after the first 180 turn the wheel (or push the analog stick) to the left. This helps for a more controlled spin. Happy 360's to ya

man and i haven't hated neone on this board yet, but phillip's getting close (game developer HA!)

Phillip is a big fat liar. Man_I_Can_Drift has some anger issues, and a lack of knowledge. ;)
These are the only people I have had problems with.

i think you just hafta learn yourself. It seems everyone is giving a different method of doing it based on how they learned to do it. Just to add to the method pool, I did it in my impreza lm by first knowing the speed and exact point to start the 360, then mashing the ebrake and gas at the same time until I start to spin at the desired speed. I've not really tried it, but I don't see any reason why I couldn't do two 360's before a corner using this method.

A little advice: Unless ur on sims, I think its really important to have the rear tires spinning at some speed at all times throughout the drift. I found that if I just use the ebrake to start the drift, and once I get the car into a 180 position and the rear tires are not spinning, its really hard for the car to start them spinning again at the end of the drift if they didn't have some rotation to begin with.
