YOU LIE!

Maybe your beer is a phony...See any spelling errors or anything? Hahaha!

And since you're relying on wiki for all of your proofs, please click on the link below which is also wiki and scroll down to Budweiser. It says 5% abv.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anheuser-Busch_brands

I'm not trying to lie to you dude. That is what mine says. It also says brewed and bottled in St. Louis MO. You sir are the only person looking ignorant.

^Frustrated guy is frustrated. 👎

Cut him some slack. Why would his insurance pay to fix your car if you're deliberately causing a collision? Not to mention the fact that you would only increase the length of a traffic jam if you would just stand in traffic with a motorcycle.

If I decide I need to open the door for whatever reason and they hit it while illegally driving on the lane divider line, it is they're fault.

BTW, I wouldn't actually do it, but it would be a great lesson in traffic etiquette.

So easy to get a rise out of people on these forums, as you can see above.

You called most Americans ignorant. I think your attempts of proving others wrong is looking ignorant.

Also, purposely opening your door to knock someone off of their bike is also....you guessed it, ignorant.

Man, dont you know the rule? you must have 8 beers to drink and ride! :sly:
I remember bar hopping with a group of 50 in DFW. Good times!

Oh...really....I ran into a guy like you once....he ended up having to walk home because of two perfectly slashed tires from trying the same thing....as I walked back to my bike you could hear the locks lockin!

Lanesplitting as they call it, is perfectly legal in some states. Check your state for further details!

Ooooooo, scaaaary. So you were driving illegally and then you slashed the dudes tires? You sound like a giant ***hole to me.

Next time I hope the person gets your plate number and reports you.

You're ignorant for not understanding the meaning of the word ignorant, as knocking someone off of a bike has nothing to do with ignorance.

Furthermore, you are even more ignorant for saying I think most Americans are ignorant, when I actually said I've met a lot of ignorant Americans.

Back to the OP, it's good that you're owning up to your foolishness and trying to be an example as such but you're the wrong courier for the message.

I'd have kept that under wraps.

No, he actually turned his wheel therefor hitting my bike.. any bikers on here know, you just dont mess with someone on a bike for any reason, whatsoever. We are not riding in armored cages with wheels with fancy airbags to help protect you. You take a hostile action like that and your threatening someones life. Anyone can attest to this.

My American bottle of Bud in my fridge says 5%.

Ok, I'm gonna stop making myself look like a Budweiser activist.
btw, is AB still an American brewery ?

anyway, on topic: i never understood why anyone would drink and drive, i love a nice beer but always make sure i get home somehow :)

But then I remembered just reading this!

pot...kettle...black... those damned ignorant americans and their correct information on alcoholic beverages and traffic laws...damn them!

His wheel? How do you know he was doing it on purpose? Maybe he was trying to switch lanes and didn't expect some dare-devil to be "lanesplitting" or whatever?

Open the door for what reason? I can't think of a single reason to open your door on the road. Whether lane splitting is legal or illegal depends on where you live. Having someone crash into your door because lane splitting isn't allowed, clearly isn't a good example of a lesson in traffic etiquette. Simply let them pass, they don't hold you up.

Not trying to turn this into a flame war or anything but heres the story:

Big truck, 5 cars ahead, sees me coming down the middle. He turns his wheel. He has 3 cars ahead of him at a red light in the straight lane. No reason to do this. But meh, it was in my early years so im over it all now, responsible riding/driving is the way to be!

Dont drink and drive Merry Christmas Blah blah blah :)

ig·no·rant/ˈignərənt/Adjective
1. Lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated.

It seems like that perfectly fits you, since you don't know what the American bottles of bud abv were, nor did you know where it was brewed but insisted that you knew because you read wiki. :dunce:

And as far as the knocking someone off of the bike on purpose, maybe ignorant isn't the best word, perhaps weenie, pansy and idiot are words that I would call someone who did that.

This thread seems to have slided of track more than a bike hitting a taxi... to soon?

That's all I'm saying.

It would be a nice lesson to the driver of the car who did it when their face gets fubar...

I'm looking at a bottle of bud now..."Brewed in Canada". So I am right.

Where I was ignorant was whether it was brewed in the states or not. Now I am informed that it indeed is.

Don't forget alcohol by volume. In the states, (at least in mine) Bud is 5%. You said I was lying about that.

I'm not trying to keep arguing, but you brought this on. You shouldn't call someone a liar when the subject is about something that you don't have enough knowledge about.

What'd I do? WHAT'D I DO?!

Oh... yeah, save drinking and driving / riding for video games.

Yes, sir.

The thread is about beer, $5 says people in this thread are drinking while reading it. lol

As for opening a door into someone's face... not a good lesson at all. Would it be a good lesson for a parent who was trying to teach their kid not to run with sharp objects to trip the kid and say "See? That's what happens."

I want a new door. I don't want a new kid.

That's only because it affects you. Say it was someone else's kid? Would you still feel the same way? Is the rider's physical health worth less than your door?

Because I am imagining this and since I hate crotch rocket fairy boys, yes. If this were a real life situation, no. You guys need to move on...

You dont deserve an RS 250. Idiot.

Shame... name calling will not help!

I ride many bikes and had a drink now and then.. sometimes more than I should. Folks always think they can do it! You and your friend should have learned something here...

Good Luck with healing and be Smarter Next Time you Drink! :scared:

Come on, OP.

I just read an article where a drunk driver smashed a car killing a LA Angels pitching prospect, two more of his friends, and the guy that survived had his skull separated from his spine.

My aunt was also killed by a drunk driver.

I'm aware that it's Xmas season and wish everybody a nice holiday.
Please don't drink and drive! (moderators move this if it should be somewhere else)
I just came from a friends house and used his G27 for a session on GT5.
I drank only 6 beers but still managed to put my bike (aprillia RS250 2stroke, completely illegal in this country, fast as hell and smokes more than I!) into a a taxi because I was under the impression I was Rossi (luckily only road rash). This isn't fun and I'm now going to have to take a taxi to work because of the repair job.
My point is this; Don't screw up somebody's holiday/life because of alcohol!
I learned the hard way. Be thoughtful this season please! :)

I think you've received your Christmas gift early! Best of luck going forward.

Also, I'm glad you're drunk self crashed your illegally imported crotch rocket. I bet you think you're cool driving those annoying fairy-boy bikes around.

All the time I see these jokers driving between cars stuck in traffic, and the next time I see one coming my way I'm just going to swing my door open so they crash right into it. Then they can pay the insurance to fix my car as well as learn a big fat lesson.

Does this make you any better than him? You know, there are other ways to make people learn a lesson than injuring them on purpose.
