The hard thing about the game, is the fact that the graphics are so realistic, that it scares the utter crap out of you. Trying to play this in the dark, is asking for a heart attack at an early age.

I heard this game lacked all good forms of actually good gameplay. My friend said its just like Doom 2 or the oldschool Duke Nukem 3D where u just walk around and push the odd button and kill stuff.

I really liked Duke 3D. He had a couple of funny sayings. "I crack skulls, not safes".

I don't think this is worth buying. The PC group said it wasn't as good as the hype, and I can't imagine playing it on a console - it could only be worse.

online co-op is an okay rental incentive though.

I'd rather see half life 2 on xbox, because I am so broke-ass I can't afford a decent gaming rig.

I bought the collectors edition.
I can meet you tonight online if you want to play. I played co-op with a guy last night online against the story mode. This game is absolutely mind blowing and very intense!!! A lot more strategy involved with 2 people so you dont shoot each other. Plus one guy usually has the flashlight on and the other guy has his gun ready. It was awesome playing against the computer with someone online. My game tag is in my sig. I was online with the same person for 5 hours last night and we never got disconnected. 👍
My only complaint is that my girfriend can't play against the comp with me on the same x-box. (split screen) She even has her own gametag and still cant play Doom 3. We played Doom 2 and ultimate doom together but we cant play Doom 3 unless we get another x-box.

EDIT: I can't play online tonight. Got baseball practice at 7:15 PM Eastern Time and don't know when I'll be back but if im back before 9 I'll play.

Does a 600 watt sony surround sound system count? If it does then yes and its very scary and very intense. You hear everything and when you turn in the room everything turns with you.
