I use something close to that for my MR and FF setups, but there are a number of factors that come in to play when deciding on DF settings.

Isn't that a bit much? I mean, that would seemingly cause the car to understeer like nobody's business...

Well I have been making hybrids since 1999 and none of my cars tend to understeer. But as I said there are many factors involved when you set your DF. Every vehicle is different, and I only would set that large of a front to rear DF ratio in cars that oversteer anyway. Which are usually FF and MR vehicles with short wheelbases.

You must consider that not all your cars are 4wd like the escudo, but i have never tried putting the same on all of them. I doubt it would work too good, but worth trying

dude, whether one car is like another doesnt matter. have a car with 2.0 and 2.5 works as good on one car as bad on another. it all depends on how you ride in a car.

The kind of car and your driving style are the only things that determine if this setup will work for you. If you find it works well all around, then keep racing and try to find the perfect setup (very hard to obtain, but golden once you figure it out...).
