Downforce?

Hey guys, I was wondering how do you adjust downforce after you've installed a wing or other aero modifications?

Go to the tuning menu, and it's under body/chassis mod's (all the way at the top).

Depends on the car.

I think you need to install aero part on the front of the car to adjust front downforce.

Unless you do a Racing Modification, you won't be able to adjust front downforce.

If you buy 'front' and 'extensions' aero parts fro non-RM cars, there is no mention of whether or not the front-end receives a static value of positive downforce after purchasing the parts. You can adjust values for the rear, but only if you buy the wing.

So far, the front bits are just for aesthetics. I'm hoping this is something that can be unlocked, if not patched.

you don't need RM for that. my brother's GTR V-Spec has adjustable front and rear, he just bought the aero bits for it. and i believe it's the extension (canards) aero parts, not the front, you need for you to be able to adjust front aerodynamics.

theres only two front lips second one is larger i dont know if you are saying he literally has canards on the car or not but you cant adjust the downforce on the lips

I have the GT-R SPECV '09 with Front, Extension, and Wing parts purchased and equipped. There are no adjustments for front downforce... only rear.

ok.. so i checked it again and yes, you can't adjust front aero on it. sorry, might be referring to another car that i have.

can you adjust the front downforce on the standards if you just put a wing on them like gt4?

this kinda blows if you can only adjust the front df on certain cars

No. Looking back at it, some cars do get a static value of positive front downforce when you purchase all of the aero parts, but the value is low and nonadjustable.
