Downshifting issue

Hello,
I am GT7 driver that tries to get into ACC. And I have an issue here that I never faced in GT7, and it is while downshifting. I run full throttle on a straight, then start braking before turn and also want to start downshifting. But it does not allow me to do it as I want. There are time gaps between it allows me to make another downshift. I watched videos how others downshift and it seems they do not have this issue. Maybe it is about some setting or so. Can someone help, please? Thanks.
 
ACC has downshift protection. It will not change down if doing so would make the engine rev too high. GT games have never had that.

AI pitting bug and downshift sticking?

Hi, 2 questions as suggested by the thread title: 1) I just finished a sprint race that had a mandatory pit stop. I was quite a bit out in front and performed the minimal pit requirement, no bodywork or suspension fixes etc. I wasn’t overtaken but still ended up in 3rd. It’s honestly like 2...

I just figured that out this week, I had the same issue.
Iwent to an IMSA race this summer at Laguna Seca and watched cars coming in and out of various corners, they are not compression braking. They brake coming into a corner, change gears if necessary and then on the gas at the apex. Most drivers that I see in GT7 seem to be compression braking into a corner.
