That reminds me of Reims circuit. Just old sports car racing and circuits, but cool idea and layout
 
I'm thinking something in Race modified Road cars but either a 24H race or a transnational or transcontinental, haven't decided yet.

How about a Trans-European Race in either LMP or RM cars? (All just an idea)
Start in Lisbon, Portugal
Then drive to Madrid, Spain
Drive to Valencia, Spain
Monte Carlo, Monaco
Milan, Italy
Zurich, Switzerland
Vienna, Austria
Venice, Italy
Rome, Italy
This would lead to a total distance of ~4500km/2800 miles, appropriate distance I think. :sly:

I just expanded. :)

However I wasn't aware that they stopped the use of LMPs on Nurburgring. Maybe it's WEC and not ALMS? Or did they stop it completely?

(ALMS & Nurburgring...!?) There's probably nothing more to it other than favouring some other tracks instead of it due better crowds, financial situations etc. In recent years it wasn't the best event for sure. LMS and WEC will not share any events in future like the LMS & ILMC did this year, so perhaps LMS might take it back.
