I own 1989 series 3 V12 Jaguar one of the very last of the series 3's. what a beautful car ever since I first looked at the XJ series 1 I wanted one it has taken 30 years for this dream to come true. And I still believe the car still has the same appeal today you can look at it and you know what sable it has come from unmistakable a Jaguar. The V12 is so smooth and so quiet even at speeds of over 220 kph. I dont believe 30 years ago I was ready for a car like this but it is loved and admired for what it is.
In a straight line acceleration it is fast but there are a lot of cars even every day models that will probably beat it but it is doing it so easy but from about 80 kph you start pulling in almost anything and the sound of a V12 doing 6500 rpm's is something very few people will ever experice but for me everyday ... and I love it
