Any 1 know if there will be driftout fits and engine swaps in gt4
( driftouts fits = body kits and ect for drift )

 i think a sr20 would go great in a trueno with a massive kit
or maybe a s13 with a rb20 o0o0o:O
and i sure woulden't mind a rotary leven.

( sorry if this has already has been asked )

and there wasen't gt4 drift forum so yea.....

driftout fits? What the ****?

Use the search button and search in the GT4 forum.

thanks will do

what you on about

(driftout fits? What the ****?)

term i like to use

( driftouts fits = body kits and ect for drift )
that was in the post dosen t that explan what i mean.

I really hope you are not serious about the SR20 swap and the huge kit for the Trueno.:yuck:

"What the ****?"....was asked because "Driftout fits" sounds stupid, not to mention the fact that body kits aren't "drift parts."

kits aren t needed in a drift car but kits offer down force and offen kits are made to suit drift car because they are offen very close to the ground as you will see in d1. and go very fast side ways and i aslo heard that in d1 in japan cars get marked on the styling of the car so havin a kit would help.

You sound stupid to me **** start sayin **** for for no reson. no need to be stayin **** like wtf.

OK. Settle down. I think he was just asking what that meant. I have never heard of it either.

Hope who replies? Me?

In reply: The average speed drifters actually drift at is around 60mph and a body kit isn't going to make any noticable difference at that speed. Neither is a spoiler for that matter. They're pretty much pointless except for the fact that they look cool and that's what drifting is all about. And no, the style of the cars aren't judged in drifting comps.

Yes, "driftout fits" does sound stupid. I feel that I've made my point very clear as to why I think that.

EDIT: In case that STILL isn't clear enough...just look at the wording. "Driftout".....what is that even supposed to mean? and the added "fits" at the end? It just doesn't make any sense.

I know a guy who had an SR20DET in his AE86 and it was a beast until the engine blew.

I just dont think that its right to 1) put a nissan engine in a toyota and 2) the Trueno engine has so much potential so why replace it but i guess it comes down to opinion.

1.) I wasn't aware there was a code of ethics when it came to tuning a car.

2.) SR20DET > 4AG

I know what you are talking about and it is only my opinion. I know the SR20's are great engines and are pretty much used in anything i just like Truenos to much to change the engine but once again it is just my opinion, nothing was meant by it.

yah thats just wrong toyota should not have a engine swap its too good for that, and its not right to change the engine of a trueno to anything unless its another trueno engine. thats all i got to say...

I'll take an SR20DET powered AE86 over a stock one anyday.
It's definitely a badass engine swap.

hahahah this neva end is it .ok i can say driftout fit if i won t ok you callin it stupid is well just stupid what do you get out of saying this your just making trouble and as i said drifting at 60 mph with a car that is 2 or 3 inc of the ground it dose matter what ya brob **** .fit  porve me wrong bout the d1 thing.

stop being a smart ass and shut the **** up.

   i don t under stand why you would care about wording i use.

:O hmmmmm bmw drifter if you got a sr20 in a trueno there is alot more tuning opions( in real life any way ) and the sr20 is a good enging thats why i think it would be good.

and there is a trueno in d1 japan with a sr20.:D well there was

What does the height of the car have to do with anything? Being lower to the ground would mean that there's even LESS of a purpose for a body kit than if the car was higher off the ground. Lower Car=Less amount of air going under the car and more air going over the car pushing it down.

The body kits that they use in D1 aren't even wind tunnel tested. They're just for show.

I can't comment on anything else you said because I'm not even sure it's in english.

sorry if i use bad english

 that **** harsh ****

no jokes now why you sayin that

i think putting a SR20 in a toyota is pointless when you dont even need that much power in there, and i also think that it is pointless to put a SR20 in a S13 because why would you waste your time when you can put a RB25 in that bad boy:)

yes, the S13's came with an SR20DE or SR20DET. Other options were the CA18DE, and CA18DET
Yes the Skyline GTR's have an RB26DETT (R32->R34).
However, they did also come with RB25DE's in the R33 and R34 GTS4 models, and the RB25DET in the GTS-25T.
RB20DE's, and RB20DET's were placed in the R31's, and i think a few also found there way into the R32 GTS-T and GTS4's.

does that solve it for you?

And by the way, what are you talking about KA27's for? i have no clue what that is
you must mean KA24
1989 and 90 240SX's came with the KA24E, and 91-98 had the KA24DE

Big body kits? cool? i didn't know those words could be put together:p

Please, if GT gets kits keep it to recing modification's. Lets not put those ugly Veilside and Blitz kit's in our beloved gran turismo:eek:
