why is it that when new members post then there grammar is sobad i cant even read it why is it members from hong kong have better english than these idiots why is it they dont even try... whats wrong with them????

I'm from Hong Kong........ you should know that H.K. was 'ruled' by England for 97 years when China 'rented' the land to England in 1900. The land was returned to China on July 1st, 1997.

Enough on the history lesson, and darkdrifterz45, it's because you don't know how to 4-wheel-drift. It's a hard technique to pull off. Plus, you're drifting exhibition style and trying to beat other cars of the same calibre, it's not going to happen..

I know it was a joke! :P!

edit: By the way toykodrifter, you have excellent punctuation compared to alot of other members on this forum, keep it up!

If you use any tire (excluding sims) beating the ai while drifting however reclessly should not be hard to do. However when faced with a driver of the same caliber of yourself, exhibition drift in any form will slow you down. If you would like to drift faster, go to drift faster than grip in the drift forum and read up.

I am surprised this hasnt been moved yet. You mods are slacking...

sorry doodz i got so carried away and posted on the wrong forum.... thanks for some info....
sorry bout my grammar i was in school that time
when i typed it so i was in a rush ok...

Thread's been revived a little bit, so it won't be hard to find. That's where I basically got most of my drifting questions answered, and some non-drifting questions, too.

You've answered your own question. Let me put it another way: Because you've been suckered by the myth of Initial D.

News at 10: drifting is slower.

If you are drifting (as the word is currently being used), then by definition, you have broken the traction of the rear wheels. Therefore, those wheels cannot be used to accelerate the car. In a Skyline, that means you're throwing away more than half of your acceleration power. On a RWD car, you're throwing away all of it.

Does that answer your question?

If he had used a search i doubt he would have come across a clear answer. There are many threads that say exhibition drift can be used in races and is fast. It is a fact that exhibition drifting to some extent is faster than equivalent hp cars driven by ai as long as you are on super slicks or other tires excluding sims. However, exhibition drift will not grant you fast lap times, and becoming really fast is hard. I think that dark drifterz may be on the right path (wanted to get faster). Without that want you will never try to get really fast...

Hey neon are you gonna move this thread???

Simple physics. I can't believe how many morons will argue with this. I wouldn't be surprised if they insisted things fall up.

milefile...simple physics is clouded by present day terminology... there are some like me that use drift to mean more than just exhibition drifting. Exhibition drift will always be slower no ?... but applying slip angles when appraching maximum traction is still drifting and is fast... Exhibition drift is only faster in the rare case like hairs...

most of the morons you refered to get hung up on terminology no physics

lolz....tcs and asm can really help, if ur tryin 2 drft, and so can lotz otherz but newaz....DRFTING IS A LOT SLOWER THAN GRIP....lolz.... but i still preffer drft...lolz
