Gah.. SOrry bro. U are right. I will edit post and put in the correct (1 and a quarter circles) numbers.

Yeah, that's what I figured because the wheels are usually 90 degree one way. This wheel has drastically improved, however it's going to teach a lot of people the wrong way to drift by using the palm of one hand to turn (it'll turn quick, but not quick enough).

Edit: Must've sniffed some pot today

I don't know if I'd go that far... more like, it's on the right side of the steering wheel. It's in a horrible position, and is way too sensitive, if you ask me. I suppose you'd get used to it. I'm using the paddles still. If I wanted to be grabbing a shifter I'd be doing it in real life! Unfortunately that'll change when 900° comes into play and I won't know which paddle is where or even necessarily have any hands on the wheel at all (transfer into opens?). What I really want is a laser that shoots into my eye and shifts up when I look down & right, and shifts down when I look down & left. Then I'll be happy. :D

Is there any actual manufactorer that makes lefthand drive steering wheels?
(shifter on the left side of the wheel)
not talking about arcade machines and the like.

Don't think this was answered yet. The wheel does loosen when you lose traction. Also it starts to counter-steer a bit, but not fast enough to drift with. If you turn off force feedback, the wheel is stiff all the way around making it too hard to drift.
With force feedback on, I use professional settings, the turn in is just a little stiff then the wheel loosens up after the back end starts to swing out.

I just got the wheel awhile ago, and I'm still practicing drifting with 900 mode. I don't have a car in real life so It's hard to compare, but so far it seems pretty good. For linking drifts it's not extremely hard, just gas moderation is really important for when you change the drift direction. :D

Hmm. With a 900 degree ability i think it will be ahrder to even counter-steer and bring it back. Makes me want to get a wheel and try it myself. Now that little code you said BreakerOhio. is that for ALL wheels or just for the Driving Force Pro?

Its obviously for the GT4 wheel, since only it is advertised to be able to produce 900 degrees. If you tried it with the GT3 wheel, and then forced it to turn 2.5 turns, I'd be surprised.... maybe it will or maybe it will break on you.

It's definitely not practical. Try this out on a F1 during a long straight to 1st corner :D (quotations indicate seconds)

6th(.3s)-5th(.3s)-4th(.3s)-3rd(.3s)-2nd(.3s)-1st(.3s)-2nd(.5s)-3rd(1s)

Plus you're looking at technology similar to Lasik :D

GT4 Prologue with GT Force Pro does that. When the car loses traction, it looses the steering wheel. :)

But I'm not sure if GT4 Prologue + GT Force (old) does that. I'll probably check it later on.

It does that in GT3 with my Driving Force wheel o_0 In fact thats how I drift, I cant drift without the force feedback for that very reason, I need to be able to feel what the car is doing, its grip point, etc.

Yeah, the Driving Force Pro does that all very well. Me and my friend have been playing GT3 for about 8 hours straight, drifting... Oh so fun.

He's gonna get a wheel, and we'll (no pun intended) probaby do a dual drift video soon. We got pretty good in 8 hours. I should record one of our replays and put it up...

Exactly! The main point of force feedback.
