Hey Everyone, I posted a few nights ago saying, "I Found the Secret to DFP Drifting". Just wanna say sorry for such a lame post everyone.. But i was pretty excited seeings as how i've been practicing for months.
Well I really did find the secret this time.. And when i speak i'm speaking specifically about an White RX-7 GT-X. Which is my primary FR Drifter as of right now. Well I found out that While these entire few months i've been drifting it with 294hp, STAGE 1 Turbo with N1 Tires. Just today i Brought it down to a stock turbo clocking in at 266HP with N1's. WOW What a difference I mean all that practice actually paid off the car is so much more stable seeing as how the harder spool has been effecting the my drifting.
Now i know that with a larger turbo comes a harder power band. And heres my questions:
*And please comment on all Types of Cars. AWD,FR,FF,MR,RR*
Is It considered harder or even "Practical" to drift FR's with more horsepower?
What Do You Prefer?
Should a FR car with, 300hp and up use next step up on tires?(Speaking of the FC where my Experience Lies)
Also, Do your drift DS, or DFP? because this really does make a difference in drifting styles and what u "Can" and "Cant" do with a wheel..
Now I know some of these questions is vaque and i'm hoping it gets discussed furthur..
Obviously AWD's will proably the first thing people talk about saying as how Higher HorsePower is better in most circumstances.. since making 4 wheels spins is alot harder then making 2 wheels spins.. Anyway enjoy the thread..
